Hey do you guys mind telling me where Roussel and Watson fit in your prospect pool?
Like maybe a little ranking of how they are compared to your other prospects?
Watson's stock likely has risen a bit after a solid offensive season, whereas COR's has fallen a bit, after what was, by all accounts, a pretty awful season with Montreal.
I thought that the team underperformed on the whole. Latta and Beck did okay when they played. Watson wore down as the game went on. Conacher played hard but was repeatedly stopped by bodychecks and separated from the puck. He is too small to play in the AHL at the moment. Foss was okay. He had the puck in open ice in the neutral zone. A Texas player skated up and broke Foss' stick. No call by special blind referee Chris "Chiapeta" Ciamaga. Foss stood there for a second or two and then headed for the bench. He seemed totally surprised by the turn of events.
Santorelli didn't play well again. Smith couldn't catch a puck from the corner. His glove acted like it was made of rubber. It led to a goal that should never have been.
Watson could end up a lot better than a lot of us think. He had a damn good 2nd half of the year on an awful team. Once he builds more muscle i think he could be a guy that we see with Wilson in the future

Portland Winterhawks up 3 games to 1 in WHL playoffs.
Go Johan Go.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!
So basically we have a bunch of Jerred Smithson/Joel Ward clones in Milwaukee. Fabulous, really make me feel confident about our future.
Nashville has already called up Spaling, Halischuk and Blake G as well as Blum. If you need another Wilson or Rads, we don't have one in Milwaukee. Klasen, Mueller and Bourque are 20 goal scorers. Klasen got his in the half a season when he wasn't injured. Begin played all of last season in Boston. I think that all of them could play in the NHL. For D-men, we have Johnson, with over 200 NHL games. Josi and Laakso could step up tomorrow.
Did Trotz ruin a couple of more players by yakking too much in the press again? Maybe you should stop listening to what he says. Where do you think most of the current Preds came from?

Reason: Not needed
Charles Olivier-Roussel is now available for the Ads after the Juniors lose 4 games to 2 in the Q.
COR 1g 3a in 10 games for a defenseman. He will be 20 in Sept. but does have one more year of eligibility in the CHL. He didn't have a good year but at 6'1" 201lbs might be a good body to have.
Windsor Spitfires win their series against the Spirit 4 games to 2.
Ryan Ellis leads all defensemen in scoring with 6g 10a in 13 games
Portland wins their series 4 games to 2 against Kelowna.
Taylor Aronson 2g 7a in 11 games.
Windsor and Portland are both in the semifinals in their respective leagues. (WHL and OHL.)
Way things are shaping up for the Memorial Cup could be interesting. If the Majors win their semi against the Niagara Ice Dogs, the winner of the Windsor/Owen Sound semi gets an automatic bye into the Memorial Cup since the Majors are hosting the Cup. So, it could be ANOTHER year of Ryan Ellis in the Memorial Cup.
In the WHL it's Portland vs. Spokane in one Semi and Medicine Hat v. Kooteney in the other.
In the Q, it's Saint John's Sea Dogs, Maineiacs, Gatienau, and the winner of Rimouski (Radulov's old team) and Shawningan.

Radulov's old team is Quebec Remparts. Sidney Crosby, Lecavalier, and Brad Richards played for Rimouski.

I'm pretty sure Poile ran over diva's dog, or something....

You sure it wasn't Lane Lambert? Diva basically said that Milwaukee doesn't have any good players, even though they are in the AHL playoffs playing last year's finalists.
