Great song choice by the way. I've been a fan of the band since watching The Fighter a few months ago (it was pretty much the theme song throughout the film).
And if you guys like the band (The Heavy), look up their performance of the song on Letterman. He actually asks them to do an encore.
Started off with me just wanting to highlight Subban's troll-tastic season after the latest brouhaha with Lecavalier, evolved into something else altogether. Oddly enough, the Lecavalier stuff didn't make the final edit.
I posted an entry in blog. Basically discussing why I made my spoof of the History Will Be Made commercial. Nothing in it that isn't news to people on these boards, but it would still be nice if people could read it. Maybe constructive criticism or just some flat-out arse kissing would be nice.
I am taking in an abandoned cat who's living in my shed currently. He is black with a white chest and a white patch near his private parts. I am thinking I might just name him PK.
Forget the Calder at this point go for the Vezina. I cannot see who in this league is as complete a defenseman as he is. I think he's better than Letang, he brings more. You have guys like Chara, Lidstrom and Pronger who I think have had their best years behind them. PK is the defenseman version of AO who develop quickly at a young age and he's already the real deal. You may think it's too much for him to be named for the Norris but nobody was whining and questioning it when AO got nominated so young. It was normal, he was the best of his field, basically. Ask yourself this question: who is more dominant as a defenseman in this league than PK Subban at present time?
I hope when it's all said and done, he goes down as the most hated player of all time. All the while, nobody really knows why.

Music is great but the editing makes it rock. The triple low fives are perfectly timed with the beat and he's moving his feet to the groove in places as well!

Ok, I see. I think the word is prejudice, not stereotypes. There are no stereotypes that exist of black people that say they are agitating cowards, which is what they imply about PK. But the point stands and PK is proving them wrong.

Very true. I never agreed with the posts title, I just think that people denying race has the slightest thing to do with it are no better than people who are holocaust deniers. Just because you live in a bubble and pretend racism doesn't exist doesn't make it so. Not trying to say it's all about race but when magically a guy like Subban gets all of this negative attention when for years guys like Ovy have done the same thing, it's silly to me.
