Although civil war would erupt in Canada if we played the Leafs...

I also think we are destined to face the bruins. The boys better get their game faces on for them too, this series will be for Pacman.

I agree with your reasoning, Habs-Bruins, classic matchup, but I think we do need the home ice advantage this year, we need a win streak now!

Jonthan Roy was the one throwing punches.

If we have the home advantage, we take them out in 5

If we don't, we take them out in 4

Pittsburgh is the team to face.
Injuries, inferior netminding, now Matt Cooke is gone. A good matchup .

Not so fast. All four teams (BOS, TAM, MTL, PIT) are within 3 points of one another. Pittsburgh has a very tough schedule ahead and Tampa is reeling. I can see us taking 3rd through 6th equally.

I think a matchup with boston is most likely, but I'd rather see something else.

I just have a strange feeling that there could be another massive incident this season if these teams meet up enough times.

I hope we play Boston in the first round. The Bruins have always and will always suck in the playoffs with the regular season mentality they have. Their team is not built for playoff hockey.

I have to admit, you guys are really creative and have some hilarious pictures and videos. One of my favorites was when Lucic (or was it Thornton?) taunted the rooster, and then ran away when the rooster turned around and started chasing him.

I miss all the fun that we used to have between the fans.

Got a little over the top with the whole Chara incident and the subsequent reaction there. I lost a lot of respect for that franchise and a lot of their fanbase in the last few weeks. I'd rather just play someone else who wants to play hockey. Kind of get a sick feeling to my stomach when I think of anything to do with that team right now to be very honest.

Although I really like our chances against Boston, I'd rather we play another team.

The Habs are the team that the Bruins least want to face. No question.

Love, love, LOVE another play-off series between the Bruins and the Habs.

With that said, I grew up watching the Habs because of my dad and the Bruins because of my uncle, so it comes naturally that I love both organizations. So to be treated with another series would be sweet. It also adds to it's already enriched rivalry between the two.

Only people I feel sorry for, should it happen, are the mods.

Judging by the big muscular build and green skin, safe to say it's from a vintage Incredible Hulk movie.

The snow melts, the days get longer and the Bruins and Habs meet in the playoffs, Spring time guarantee it seems!

As much as I love when they play (I am going down to Boston for the game Thursday) because of all the animosity on the ice and the emotions it brings from the two fanbases.

As one of you mentioned, the Habs seem to be in our guys heads, which to me makes the Habs a worrisome first round opponent. As one of you also mentioned a series with Boston may leave some of your guys too banged up to be of any use to each other. A perfect world would see the rivalry continue in the Eastern (Wales Conference) finals, tell me that would not be exciting and drive most of us crazy.
The way the Bruins are skidding and Montreal surging, they may end up flip flopping and play each other with you guys getting home ice in the first round, who knows, let's just enjoy the ride.
Good Luck

Should be an intense, rageful battle to the end, enriched by many things occuring during the regular season matchups,it will all come down to the playoffs. I'm tingling with excitement!

You know we were counting on that last year, right? But one team had to duck out early
