dale hunter would have the same impact, but would not do the same things. he would still be all about character and sacrifice. his offensive game would have more impact because he could skate. even today there are very few players like dale hunter. the team agitator that was also the team captain and big game performer.

That's a very good comparison, I don't think Morrow has quite the agitator prowess that Dale had.

I'd have to rematch semin's exact movements but it lookedvery much live as he tried to control puck not wack it. If so. I'd chalk entire sequence to **** happens and drop my discomfort with his play there to everyone else's.
btw....didn't read the thread....but Semin on that 2nd Flyers goal....wow dude attrocious donky play. Lucky he showed finally when it counted. Very bad game up to that point for him. I really wish we could count on him to carry more of the load for Ovy when he's off or like now, out. Frustrating...I'm sure this was already beaten to death.

Yeah, on a gimmick play that doesn't exist in the SCP.
At this point if the Caps can get him simply not to do anything stupid and contribute at the rate of a 3rd liner I'd consider it a net gain in the playoffs. I have zero faith in his maturity level.
