Thats gotta be good right? lol

Greg Mckegg has 49 so far and counting...The highest Hall ever had was 45 in his first season in the CHL.

He also has more than Tyler Seguin in 1 season and in total.

Looks like he could be a top 6 for sure. Maybe top 3...Hoping!

Brad Ross also has 31 goals. More than last season.

These 2 were steals and a half.

What makes you think Ross was a steal?

I'm really excited about Mckegg.

Between Mckegg, Colborne, Kadri, Gardiner and this year's first round pick we have some really good prospects.

I've watched him in the marlies, and he's been pretty disapointing.

you can't assess a player's talent by just numbers dude, yea he is doing great but he still has ways to go that he will ever be a player like taylor hall, he is truly a gem, and mckegg has been excellent in the OHL but it's going to be atleast 2-3 years for him to make an impact at the NHL as our possible second line center.

Is the OHL season not over for McKegg?

He's done great, I hope he can pot 50+ goals and 100+ points next year! Though he may just make the WJC team which would cut those chances down.

Caputi did that as an overager.

Great to hear that McKegg is doing well, outscoring Hall is impressive, and Erie isn't as good as those Windsor teams.

Don't know how you can call Ross a steal, he was a fairly high second rounder, not quite a steal, just a solid pick.

Who needs Brad Richards... We got Taylor... I mean, Greg McKegg.

Good for him. Don't want to overhype the guy. I liked him in the rookie tourny and training camp. Hopefully he becames the real deal. Good pick for a 3rd rounder.

He's going to be the better version of Darcy Tucker. I think he'll be a good 20 goal scorer, 40 -50 pts, and be a great agitator.

Definitely not a steal at that place though, he was bound to go in the 2nd round.

AND, to the OP, points don't mean much. McKegg could be a great top 6 player though.

Comparing goals of T. Hall to him is bit of a stretch.

Come on, we'd get ripped off. Ovechkin + Backstrom for Kegger, that would be a good starting point.

Has anyone actually seen him play? He looks fantastic and is a natural goal scorer and is putting up a lot of points on a pretty bad team.

Maybe we have too many good prospects

Obviously. It really depends on how you see a player progressing closely. I want to hear someone's input on his game.

McKegg was voted by OHL coaches as second 'Most Dangerous in the Goal Zone' only being beaten by Nail Yakupov by one vote. Pretty good.

Gotta temper expectations just a bit. McKegg and/or Ross just becoming a fulltime NHLers would be a success story.

Dangerous, natural goal scorer, fairly smart, not afraid to stick up for his team, good skating ability, good hands, might need to get stronger for the NHL level but still has fairly good size.

I understand... I'm asking him if he's watched him play, since he's going to be a better Tucker.

Caputi never played as an overager in the OHL. However, he never really had a dominant season until his last year before becoming AHL eligible.
