Man.. makes me a little bit more worried about tomorrow. Especially for traveling Hab's fans.
If MTL fans don't act like idiots, they will not have any issues at all. I have been to several B's v Habs games (incl playoffs) and unless the Canadien's fans are drunk and/or obnoxious, there's unlikely to be any trouble (and I'm guessing that even less will be tolerated at this game given the circumstances).
You could substitute fans from just about any two team's fan bases (not just BOS-MTL) and the same would be true.
I'm having a hard time taking anybody seriously who thinks that the Bruins are actually going to intentionally try to hurt any Habs players, particularly Subban or Gomez.
Even if you think that Chara intentionally hurt Pacioretty (which I think is ridiculous), do you really think that that BOS is going to go after another guy so soon?
I think they will wait until Game 2 of the playoffs at the very earliest...

I don't think any Bruins player is going to go out and try to intentionally hurt a Habs player. I think it's more there will be a few Habs players, that the Bruins will make sure to finish their checks against though.

Honestly, I think this is a bit overrated, unless you are talking about guys like Lucic and Komisarek who were going at it over a couple of seasons. You might see Horton or Marchand and Subban go after it a little harder, but I doubt we see anything unusual.
Right now, it looks like we may be meeting in round 1, unless you are planning on letting the Rags catch you and fall to the 7th spot

My bet is on Scott Gomez being next one to fall. I'll bet his choice words haven't been forgotten by Chara.

Hyperbole is a legit writing tool and should be easy to recognize. It was quite clear Boychuk wanted to make contact on Subban's knee.

No not in a vicious way, I'm saying more how other teams used to target Bourque back in the day. I can see Bruins forwards like Marchand, Horton, Thornton, and Lucic going after Subban in the same fashion. Trying to hit him at every chance, to either cause him to rush plays or slow him down. Oh and I'm not comparing Subban to Bourque.

The B's have lost a total of 6 games to suspension this year since they started penalizing head shots, but have lost players to these hits for far more games themselves in the past. I would guess that you consider Chara "reckless" and not just an extremely large and strong individual, but the history says otherwise.

I understand tu quoque very well. It just means that everyone has "dirty hands", including the B's. You establishing that the B's have been the victims too does not absolve them of their own reckless play. It's like a vandal and an embezzler trying to sue each other in court. (The last sentence in this paragraph is a simile; this is stated because by your own admission, you refuse to recognize literary devices.)
Also, appeal to one's reputation(lack of suspensions) is an inductive argument. Reputation is an appeal to probability, not a deductive syllogism.
Why on earth would the B's want their first line RW fighting a scrub like White?
It will likely be Thornton or nobody. Wouldn't surprise me at all if there are no fights and the B's just try to play a normal physical game like last night against NJ. Ordinarily, the B's seem to play at a higher level when the game is exceptionally gritty (see DAL), but that seems to work against them against MTL. Just play smart and skate hard and everything else will work itself out.
ps Size-wise...Campbell would be the best fit for White.
Excellent. I'm still a bit bitter about the cheap, gutless "fights" Pyatt and Spacek were involved in the last game in Boston. No matter if they initiated/accepted to fight those Nobel prize winners, once someone's down, you give it a rest (see: Pouliot). You also don't use parts of your equipment to hit.
Based on Marchand's previous hits and the state of the Habs' D in general, I expect the Habs' d-men to be in for a long, tough night. I expect Mara to be in the lineup but if he does any handywork on Campbell, Thornton and company it will mean 5 D instead of 6.
With last night's roster if the Habs come out uninjured and lose I'll be content. If the Habs come out with a point and uninjured I'll be somewhat happy. If they come out with a win and no injuries I'll be extremely happy.
