The cage is so no one can recognize and make fun of you when you're wearing this outside.

If it was made of the same material as a rugby shirt, had no sash and I'm still iffy about the numbers, I'd buy it.
But not for a hockey jersey no way.

If you read the whole article, it seems like his task was to apply his designs to famous uniforms. Each of the four is based off something he sells himself. The Habs drew the rugby shirt, the Lakers the sailing shirt, etc.
So within that context, it all makes sense.

Man, somebody should tell those guys that the 80's called, and it wants their polo shirts back.

How about the Miss Universe style "Canadiens" across the front? Horrible, horrible jersey.

You have a closet full of those shirts I'm guessing? My bad, I didn't mean to insult you.
No worries, I do have a sense of humour.

If that were the Habs real jersey I seriously would switch teams. Out of shame.
I don't know what's worse. The white stripe or number box? Oh and the caged helmet shows he knows nothing about hockey. A team wearing that outfit would earn the nickname ''the princesses'' pretty well. Luckily the Canadiens logo was no tarnished and was omitted on this POS.

Which would make it even more embarrassing for the Leafs fan base when we make the playoffs, and your team...well you're a Leafs fan, I don't have to explain to you what your team does at the end of most seasons.

Aside from the diagonal thing across the chest, I don't think it's so bad..and put the laces in white, as well as keeping the helmet one color.

Polos never went out of style.
Popping the collars on them, however -- that should be buried alive.

Maybe, I've just never been a fan of them. I'm more of a t-shirt and jeans type of guy.
Now that, I totally agree with you.
