I want a banner night for the Sedins and a blowout. Anything less is unacceptable.

A win and a couple goals for Daniel will suffice. I'm not opposed to the above situation though...

Farhan Lalji said that PTI debated the Sedin's. Anyone catch it?

Lol I assume it went something like this:

Wilbon: "there's twins playing HOCKEY?"

Kornheiser: "there's a sport called HOCKEY?!"

*edit* ...and then back to college basketball.

they were talking about the sedins finishing 1-2 in the MVP voting, then quickly segwayed back into the van gundy comments.

Oh they motored away on a scooter that's controlled using body weight? That's pretty sweet. Weird way to change topics, but I guess that's t.v. for you...

If Pavelec has 1 win in 2 games where he gave up over 4 goals shouldn't we be a touch worried? That means Atlanta scored 5+

They scored 4 against PHI and then got blown out 8-2 against the Sabres with Pavelec getting pulled after the first 20. He has allowed exactly 3 goals in each of the last 5 games.

Those are the posts in this thread about who is starting.. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills

Atlanta is, IMO, worse than the numbers say. They had a strong start to the year which can really buoy overall win-loss records.

October: 5-4-2
November: 8-5-1
December: 7-6-3
January: 4-4-3
February: 1-7-2
March: 4-4-1

Their MO this year has been allowing goals back-to-back in short order; off the top of my head I recall their beat writer saying something like 30ish times they've allowed two goals in under a minute?

Atlanta is playing right now. Mason in net.

Watch Grabner soften them up for us tomorrow!

Funny how Daniel's goal in the last meeting against them looks just like his goal from yesterday in Detroit.

This is one of those games that the Canucks will struggle to score in.

3-1 Thrashers. Goal by Danny.

Time for Daniel and Henrik to widen their gap between them and Stamkos in the Art Ross Trophy race...

He meant "segue" (http://www.google.ca/search?q=define%20segue) which happens to be pronounced the same way

No, that's what you have Byfuglien for.

Oh just watch... the refs will inexplicably call a whole bunch of penalties on Atlanta (read: more than 2) and our power play will suddenly relapse into stand-still-and-pass-it-around-the-perimeter mode.

Sorry link broken. Anywho Samuelsson will not play unless needed. Rest him, we need him for the playoffs.

Either that, or we get no penalties through the entire game.

Not that there's a chance of that. Byfuglien loves trolling the Canucks entirely too much to not get a penalty.

I seem to recall rules not applying to Byfuglien
