I'm surprised Kesler hasn't injured himself or somebody else yet.

Broke out my N64 to kill some time before the game starts. Forgot how much I loved this console.

i think spending all year in a miami suburb playing a half-filled arena in front of vacationing snowbirds and locals who got free hockey tickets when they renewed their car insurance is enough to make even the calmest of guys psychotic.

Star Fox 64 remains one of my favorite video games ever. Man that was an engrossing game.

I remember when a weekend's worth of plans could be made by calling a buddy and just saying: "play some Bond?"

Remember the golden gun?

Getting OT but the Dostovei(was that the name of the slick looking silver pistol?) was my favorite gun. Made the most satisfying "thoom" sound every time you fired it.

But yes, the Golden Gun...and DK mode...and remote mines...

I do. And one of my friends had memorized the spawning system in the Aztec level where the golden gun was at the bottom floor. You knew that once he killed you, he would literally kill you as soon as you responded every single time and you'd lose.
Huge fan of Mario Cart, Perfect Dark (loved playing the bots on the highest setting, and trying to beat all the challenges, man that game had so much to it besides the campaign), Super Mario 64

and

Ocarina of Time.

Personally, Ocarina of Time was my favorite game for that system (and I feel this is the only time I will ever get to say this, so here it goes: And It Ain't Even Close).

Started off with Perfect Dark, then played some Goleneye. After that I moved on to some Mario 64. Logged so many hours on that game. Still remember how to glitch it in all the right places. Beat the game with 16 stars in under a half hour. Can't find my copy of NHL '99 though

When i upgraded from Ps2 to a 360 years ago, i traded my ps2 for an N64 and all the games I could ever need.

Mariokart 64
Blitz 2000
Goldeneye
Zelda

Is really all you need. Smash bros and Gauntlet Legends also have their place.

Majora's mask + Ocarina of Time... I think I must've spent at least 1000+ hours on both. Glover was an amazing game as well

Best part of that game was unlocking the mode where you get rid of the Radars you have to actually find everyone!

I personally like the automatic submachinegun. D5K Deutsche (had to look that up) was great.

btw. Goldeneye for Wii has been released. SAME game updated.

Jeebus I feel old.

My memories are of Loderunner/Jumpman/Beachhead/etc.,.

(that is actually a commercial for the Vic-20 [essentially a lower end Commodore 64] but you get the time period I am talking about)

Speaking of N64, Orcarina of Time - best game of it's generation.

Mason is apparently starting for the Thrashers. He has quite terrible stats; 3.43 GAA and .893 SV% over 28 starts.

I'd be willing to say it's the best game ever.

I did get a kick out of Ocarina, but the game that stole the most hours of my life was Final Fantasy VII for the PSOne. That's my "best game ever made".
