I see his name on Alaska's roster, and see he's under St. Louis contract. Does anyone know anything about this kid? We've heard nothing about him up here yet, and he wasn't in training camp.
He is not under contract to the Blues - I think he signed a contract with Peoria, though. One of the Rivermen fans may have to chime in with some useful info.

finally developing into the high end talent we expected when we drafted him in the 9th rnd
Well, irony or not.. He has shown some good plays and is a well trained athlete with serious intentions of being at his best every game... Great dude..
I know that this doesnt mean his a elite forward (NHL Level) but he could easily put up decent if not good number in lets say SEL or SM-Liiga...
Speaking of Norway, here is a time lapse of a train ride from Bergen to Oslo. If you can tune out the tunnels with the blue thingy, it's pretty awesome. Part 1, and Part 2 is better.

I bet Ryan MacMurchy would ride this train.
We actually had a program called "Hurtigruta, minutt for minutt" that is the exact same thing just with a cruiseship going up the coast of norway. (Bergen-Nordkapp) Takes about 7 days from start to end and it was all broadcasted live.

I was just looking around for cool train time lapses and found a decent Vancouver-to-Halifax one, but the Norway one is my current favorite. Scandinavia is beautiful. Awesome way to get the feel for traveling across a country. If anyone has any other good links that they think Ryan MacMurchy would love, post em in this thread please.
