We want The Score in HD with Illico Videotron

People at fnlutte.com are trying to convince Videotron to carry The Score, an important sports channel, in HD. Star Choice and Bell have it in HD already so why not Illico? We have contacted Videotron on Twitter and they want to see how many people would be interested. If you would like to help, simply like this Facebook page and take a few seconds of your time to write a little something. Even if you don't have Illico, every single person helps. Thanks in advance.

If this is not the right place to do this, I have contacted 2 mods to ask them where to post this and I have received no answer.

NHL Network Canada hasn't been available in HD up until a couple of months ago no matter the provider. I'm not even sure if anyone in Canada carries that in HD now.

P.S. I'd gladly help if I had a Facebook account as I fully agree with the message.

TheScore is an abomination of a channel.

Their hockey coverage is by far the worst out of the 24 hour sports networks. If you are looking for hockey coverage, you'll be very dissapointed.

Their on air personalities, in general, are very irritating too.

As for NHL network, are you guys sure that they even use HD cameras for their broadcasts?

NHLN-CA HD has recently appeared in the Network filter at nhl.com. You can check it out. Two games were supposedly broadcast in HD already with two more to come. Outside of that I got no clue.

NHL Network Canada is a channel I don't care about, due to no worthy coverage of hockey.

At least TheScore has opinion pieces on other sports which I like because I'm a sports fan first and hockey fan second.

Where else can I find opinion pieces on NFL/NBA? Other than the same tired crew of ATH and PTI there is nothing else available in Canada.

I'd rather have RIS in HD before The Score, in terms of sports channels. At least RIS shows hockey. I dropped The Score ages ago and haven't missed it once. I guess if you like NFL/NBA you'd like it, but that's not for me.

Anyway as for the OP, it takes Videotron ages to add what Bell/Rogers customers have from day one, so I wouldn't hold your breath. Their HD selection (in particular their English-language HD selection) is brutal.

I wish illico had Superchannel too. Bell has it, wonder why Videotron doesn't carry it.

Guilty as charged.

But seriously, the hockey coverage is bad. And for NHL Network, I don't really mind not having it in HD. Not much to watch on it anyways.

I think the issue with videotron is that they have a capacity limit of HD channels they can offer and they're continuously working on increasing their HD capacity.

If this is true, than there are many other channels I'd rather have

They have Oprah's new network in HD. That wouldn't be Videotron's first priority.

100% agree with these.

Even though, I don't think RIS will ever be available in HD unless RDS make more profit someday. Well, who knows...

I doubt RIS ever goes HD. There is 0 point to even go HD. I really wonder how many people have RIS part of their plan since the internet is far more better..

To be honest, I don't watch many SD channels.

It's the same here.
I have RIS HD and I don't know if I've watched it once this year. I keep it cause sometimes they have press conferences that RDS won't show. But honestly.. yeah I don't watch much SD either.. if I do it's cause I cant see it in HD.. clearly.

The only SD channels I watch are NHL Network, MovieTime and GSN. Everything else I won't watch unless it's HD. I occasionally watch RIS or the non HD Movie Network but it is very rare.
