Hockey funerals

ok, I know this may be a rather bizarre topic, but recent events have prompted the curiousity.

I recently read Boys of Winter in which there was a recount of the Herb Brooks funeral, and the hockey stick procession; recently saw something on NHL network where a former player died and same thing, hockey stick processional, then was at a funeral of a former hockey player and had crossed sticks placed on the casket. I have been fortunate in life so far in not having to deal with death too much, I can count on one hand the number of funerals I've been to. So I don't have a lot of experience with it.

Was wondering if it was commonplace for hockey players, current or former, that have hockey somehow incorporated into their funeral?

I was gonna make a swing bench but this sounds more comfy.
