Who is your Favorite Ranger on this year's team

Who is your favorite Ranger on this year's team?

To me this, even though you could have picked any player on this team and more or less it would have been a good choice, was between three players: Prust, Anisimov, and Staal.

I choose Prust, because he is hurt every single game and he can be the difference maker. He scores, fights, hits, and sticks up for his teammates.

Guys like cally and hank are a given, so I guess I would say either Prusty or Sauer

Callahan's been my favorite since he's been called up. But this season, it has to be Prust.

But, if McDonagh had been here from the beginning and playing the way he has, I think he would have to be it. (typing this as I wear my McD jersey ). Love this kid and think he can be special.

Thanks Mr. Gainey!

Considering Cally, Duby, Hank, Steps, Staal are the "core" I'm not going to vote for them.

I'd have to say Prust or Boyle. The effort they've put in this year is astounding. Props both of them.

Can't pick a favorite. Cally and Hank obviously, but this year you have guys like Prust and Boyle who have been tremendous, and you gotta love the rookies and sophomores doing so good. Not to mention Dubinsky who's taken a big step as well, and Marc Staal and Danny G. who are a delight to watch paired together.

Callahan has been my favorite Ranger. The man needs to have the "C" on his sweater.

Sauer. I love the under dog. He was 23 coming into this season and he had been in Hartford for the previous 3 seasons. None of us expected this much from him, and he has basically come out of nowhere to become a great second pairing defenseman for us.

Also love guys like Cally, Prust, etc but Stepan's my favorite.

Dubi

Followed close by Callahan and Prust

I find it alarming that Gaborik has not 1 out of 41 votes so far.

Callahan followed closely by Prust and Lundqvist. Tempted to put Redden under (Other) but i would have been banned for life here, Rightly so. His bloodsucking contract may have done some good if it forced the Rangers into not signing some washed up has been like him and stuck with the youth.

Prust, and he better win the extra effort award. What was Sutter thinking giving this guy up for garbage?!

Went with Sauer. His play shocked me as I never expected him to play this good. He's good defensively and has an edge to his game which I love.

I voted Cally, but after seeing what some of you wrote about not picking one of the big choices. Id have to say Stepan, 20 year old rookie who has made an impact on this team since his first period in the NHL. So hard not to love the kid.

Such a good young team, love the direction we are going.

Yeah Sauer is number two for me for these same reasons. I didn't expect him to be as hard-nosed as he is either.

I've gotta go with Staal though. The guy is a rock. So happy we have him locked up long term.

Impossible for me to choose. I have to say though that I really like the great majority of players on this team. Avery has always been a favorite but I also see him declining and can understand his lesser role. I'm not that crazy about Christensen and Wolski needs to do more. Eminger, Gilroy, Frolov, Boogaard I'm okay with. I'm not a fan of Drury at all and I'll admit part of it is his contract but it's also that his game has been going downhill for a while--and he's never really formed any chemistry with anybody. The rest of the team I like or even like a hell of a lot.

A top 6 in no particular order--Avery, Dubinsky, Callahan, Girardi, McDonagh, Stepan.
