Next time I see Hartnell in Old City I'm gonna buy him a shot just for doing that interview with Coatesy.

I mean no disrespect...but after that ad showing Scotty Bowman at 35, he looked more like 50 at that age.

...and JESUS **** Kennedy is ugly. That right there is a man that is damned lucky to be rich.

Y'know the Pens are not as worthless without Crosby and Malkin as I thought they'd be. Their problem of having cr(p wingers has been partly addressed: Kunitz was always a good winger, Tyler Kennedy has 19 goals .. and they went out and got a great power winger Neal and the mercurial but talented Kovalev.

Guess they used their LTIR space to grab those two guys.

Their other wingers are not good enough. There's no way Pascal Dupuis or Max Talbot can be legit top 6 guys.. good 3rd liners is their ceiling.

Whether you like what they're doing or not, the Flyers are doing it faster this game. Speed has been the missing ingredient for a long time. That much is encouraging.

It's not a penalty if the high stick comes on a follow-through from a shot/clear which it clearly did.

I vaguely remember an NFL running back (on Dallas I think) who one game used his mouthpiece on running plays but removed it on passing plays. The opposing team noticed and defended plays based on that.
