I disagree. It was inconclusive since it is not clear if the *whole* puck crossed the line or not.

ducks fan here.... tough call, probably was a goal, but the views we saw were not definitive. Also, im a big Bourque fan, love his game.

It would/does all depend on if the overhead camera is truly above the goal or set slightly back like the camera is in Anaheim. If the camera is in fact directly above the goal line then yes it should have been a goal. If the camera is set slightly behind the line then it is nearly impossible to tell unless you see the actual goal line.

You win some, you lose some. This time the Ducks won.

Canucks fan here; That was a goal. Toronto screws these calls up way too often. The crossbar is 100% in parallel with the goal line on the overhead shot which showed the puck clearly behind the crossbar. What's not conclusive about that? I feel for you guys..

Pathetic. The stretch run of this season has been just brutal this year.

That was a goal and the Flames really got screwed on that call, but they had plenty of PP opportunities to capitalize in this game and failed to produce a goal. They got no one to blame if they lose this game but themselves. Once again, we have to sit here and hope another comeback is in store and the Flames dig themselves out of yet another hole.

wow very dirty hit by Giordano.... he played very well tonight, but that knee to knee at the end of a game when it is over is completely uncalled for. disgusting.

I didn't even see it, just saw Ryan down and Gio skating away like nothing happened... I'm sure there's already a YT up on the main board.

That no goal call kinda pisses me off, but whatever. They had their chances. ****ing disappointing though.

These calls were a direct result of the NHL catering to American teams. Bettman doesnt want Canadian teams in the playoffs and the officials have been given their marching orders. That was clearly a goal and as a Canadian Flames fan I am disgusted.

You don't see knees like that often with the player actually winding up for the huge knee. It's dirty enough to just stick out the leg but that was.. something else.

one of the most intentional intent to injure plays I have seen, no reason to make that play other than to hurt a star player. Game was over, and he knew exactly what he was doing. I actually like the flames (they are my 2nd favorite team) but that was really disappointing to see.

I believe that was the death blow to the season. The better team won tonight.

This sucks.

Yes, that's why Toronto war room has cost the LA kings three games this year with good goals overturned. It's a conspiracy against Canada.

Most telling stat for me was when they showed the blocked shots mid way through the 3rd. 26-8? We have arguably the best shot blocker in the league on our team and we block 8 shots in a do or die game? And having 26+ blocked screams that this team either isn't fast enough, or smart enough with the puck, or both. Gonna be an interesting offseason.
