I'd be waiting Saturday if it was me. Don't know why, but nothing on RDS on this, 400 millions that could piss some Nords fans... Let's see on April 2nd, but it sure looks intriguing.

What?.. what does this have to do with Nords fans?
As far as I know.. this is funded by a private company.

I like the location, but not the design.

yes this is completely private! Cadillac Fairview Corp. Ltd is very large and has deep pockets!

has nothing to do with QC

I wouldn't mind having a condo there as well as season tickets...

That is the ideal life.

No parking troubles,
No driving troubles,
No metro troubles..

Only possible problem would be a cop car being burned in April/May.

I'm just crazy. Every story I hear, I will wait until Saturday to make sure they are not fools. I just found weird that it was the exact same amount as the price for the Colisée, but didn't notice it was funded by private companies.

Love the idea and the design. I think it is good for the city of Montreal in general.

Same here. Montreal's a pretty ugly city though and this is better than most of what's here.

Looks like the same idea as Maple Leaf Square in Toronto. Cadillac Fairview also built that. Their owned by the Teacher's Pension Fund so obviously it would be a giant cash grab

An ugly city? You crazy, I know montreal is not Praha but man it is far from ugly. Ever went to Detroit or Atlanta, these are ugly cities, not montreal.

I actually think Montreal is awesome.

Montreal's a good city, but it's also an ugly city. There's nothing wrong with that.

The area could definitely benefit from new developments as it's basically a dump but why almost on top of the Bell Center?

Location, location, location? I'm thinking if they want to use the habs to market it, they want to keep it close. Like others have said, do it where the parking lot is, and just do some large underground parking on both sides (av de can and on st antoine). That spot needs to be alleviated of traffic big time.

With the development around the ACC in Toronto, I'm sure Molson Bros saw dollar signs too!

Makes sense to have venture investments outside such a hot spot in Toronto. Pretty majority of the players would buy condos there.

of course! Montreal could have been something...a nice big stadium downtown for the CFL, MLB and MLS.

Anyways, Mr Molson needed money obviously, the Canadiens cost him a lot...

It does indeed remind me of Maple Leafs Square too.

http://www.mapleleafsquare.com/

A friend of mine lives in one of the condos besides the ACC in Toronto. It's pretty damn awesome. There's a grocery store just below the condos and a subway station a maybe 200 meters from there.

They're probably trying to do the same concept if it's the same company funding it.
