Is someone out of the lineup or is Lavi just mixing up the lines when putting Carcillo with Richie and Versteeg?

Afleet Alex is lingering in the back of the pack.
Jeremy Rose has yet to make a move on him and he's running unstrongly.
Giacomo leads but...
Afleet Alex just ran right by Giacomo like he was standing still.
Afleet Alex is opening up with a tremendous burst of energy. He's five lengths in the lead.
A compelling outstanding performance by the plucky Afleet Alex. He won by six or seven lengths.

That penalty occured partially because Leino had to force a pass in the offensive zone. The Thrashers ended up coming back the other way. Sometimes you just have to make the simple play when you're up a man.

I'm really surprised that the penalty was not worse for kane. I thought that deserved a 5 min major.
