However, since he isn't allowed to discuss the injury, we really can't be sure.
I know this is a big game, but I think it is one we should be able to win without Henrik, and I worry about a division rivals with goons in the lineup and nothing to play for running an already beat up Lundqvist.

that kinda thinking assures you will be playing golf in april. hank has to play if he can go.
hanks been gettin run all year. so now he should not play.....
this is the biggest game of the year tonite and we need hank in net. more so because the other options are not acceptable. and the isles arent a terrible team

now if biron was availible, different story.
Exactly. CJ is not an NHL goaltender right now despite his flash in the pan of brilliance, especially with this much pressure. Biron, on the other hand, makes it a no brainer to rest Hank for a game if he really needs it.

If we had won yesterday i'd say rest hank for sure he needs it. Then again if Buffalo can play like that for Enroth then why the hell can't we for our backup against the Isles?
I think I lean towards playing him. If his injury is that bad one game of rest might not make much difference. If we win tonight and Car loses (giving us some breathing space) I say give Hank a game to rest. If we win that game I say give him another if he needs it
not sure how anyone can say we should win any game without hank at the moment...3 goals in the last 4 games. give up 1 goal and we are heading to ot...zero margin for error for the goalies at the moment

But if DiPietro's playing tomorrow, I smell a blowout (against the Islanders).
