No Barker, no win.

Oh wait... we won in shootout last game right?

Should be a win.

We sure as hell did! And after seeing what the Blues did to the Red Wings last night I'm happy as hell that we got out of there with a respectable game.. Even if we would have lost by a goal or so it's better than that 10 to 3 drubbing they handed the Wings...

If we would have lost 10 to 3 to the Blues after already having lost 9 straight in embarassing fashion I can't even imagine what whould have happened...

True, but my brother is at the game, and he's been a curse to the home team. Plus, we suck too.

Oh we know.. And you realize that you're also playing an AHL team that has only won once in 10 games in anyones barn and we have no chance at the play-offs or of a good draft pick & we really have nothing to look forward to the rest of the season or next for that matter...

we are Jack's lack of excitment...

EDIT: I'm 1-0 when creating game day threads... so we got that going for us... but loses only hurt us more now sooooo, we'll call it a wash.

It's the Oilers. Wild win and extend their winning streak to 2. More people complain about draft position and how the team should have tanked. Or...

...Wild lose at home to Edmonton for the first time in 16 games. More people complain about how their team can't beat the Oilers of all teams and clamor for Richards' head and how the Wild should finish the season strong for next year.

Oh don't confuse my apathy with wanting to tank. I'm securely at a point where I don't care anymore as long as it's an exciting game.. All I ask is that we make it exciting to watch.. The Oilers deserve a win & if they are goingt to get it, nows the time.. If we lose, better chance at drafting higher! If we win, we win! So no complaints on my behalf!

EDIT - I just reread your post gopher! gotcha! haha I thought you were saying that we were hoping to lose... my mistake!

I'd like to see Zannon, Schultz & Stabitz score tonight, with Mikko, Havlat and Spurgeon getting 5 for fighting.

I'd like to see Backstrom get roughing penalties and Richards get called for Referee abuse.

Why not .... its something we've never seen.

Spurgeon should take out that Peckham punk!

does he still play for the oilers?

I really don't want to see Mikko fight...I have a feeling it would be a lot of hugging or end up something like Semin, which if you win is still more embarrassing than losing by getting one punched.

Why would Mikko fight?

And yes, Peckham still plays for them.

Can't be worse than the TUF fight last night.
