I don't understand why these so-called sports reporters or journalists don't ask the players actual hockey questions. It's always "how do you feel going into game6?".
Ask Gomez why he's not producing, if he's trying something but it's not working, whatever.
Tenured journalists aren't journalists. I'm looking right at Pat Hickey & Company.
I said Gomez would play well in his last 2 games. He got another assist tonight, I missed the game however so Im sure to everyone he still Sucked overall, but I am calling a bigger game for him tomorrow. Just like last year.

His legs were moving and he was flying around, unfortunately it didn't result in many chances. I think his style of play is in massive decline.
When you don't have any ability to finish it becomes increasingly difficult to keep the goalie/defence guessing. I like his calming influence, that's about it and it isn't worth 7.5m.
He is easily the softest player on this current habs roster.
Thought he played a decent game. His legs were definitely moving all night, and that made all the difference. Still couldn't help but notice their line getting hemmed in defensively quite often, but every time they bent without breaking they seemed to gain confidence. And by the end, Gomez was even making strong defensive moves in the neutral zone. Ultimately didn't make many (any?) "glaring" mistakes, which was good enough last night, thanks to Price.
I want this guy off our hockey club next season. It's as simple as that.
Might happen doubt it. Mean time try and appreciate the fact that he brought in Captain Gionta, and Sniper Cammy. So without him we dont have either of them.. Deal with it.
I know Gomer will never live up to expectations... but nothing is going right for this guy. He has 4 points and is a -6 in the playoffs. So much for the clutch performance that so many supporters were predicting.

Habs won't get a cup anytime soon with 3 centers below 6ft.
It's time to move Gomez in a salary dump trade. Trade him to another team who has a 5 or 6 million dollar problem - then waive the player you receive if necessary.

Very upset I ever said this...
It doesn't even seem to phase him that he sucks. But I guess he is just laughing inside, sitting in his beautiful house, going to relax on a nice golf course.
No doubt that Scott Gomez is a good dressing room guy. However, he loses a whole lot between the dressing room and the ice. He is simply not giving the effort on most nights to justify half the salary he is gettting. He is a third liner at best and must be moved no matter what the financial penalty.

I won't fault his effort.Like I've said,he's washed up and is one of the ridiculous contracts that have prevented us from being a contender
