No one would take H Sedin off the sideboards on the PP. He'd lose quite a bit of his value playing back there. Not to mention I don't think he'd catch anyone if the other team threatened to break away.
Close. Stamkos and Lidstrom at the point would be deadly (Stamkos with his one-timers and Lidstrom with his QB skills). And then you have the Sedins with their cycling/passing which is the best in the league.
However, I would replace St. Louis with a big bodied net front presence. Maybe either Kesler or Perry. But Chris Stewart or Byfuglien in front of the net would also work.
I think the net presence is unnecessary given the playmaking ability of the three forwards. I was also playing on the chemistry factor but personally three forwards that can pick apart defenses with crisp passing is more efficient than net crashing as they won't tire as fast. Plus with Stamkos' shot there isn't much need for a screen. Lids is accurate enough with his shooting that Daniel can easily tip his shot especially coming in from the left wing. A big body would just clutter the crease IMO.
Lidstrom would be the set up man from the point, while Weber provides the key right handed bomb from the point, Stamkos takes his spot on the half wall, Selanne is still the best PP goal producer in the league, he'll be down low on the left side while Perry is working his magic in front of the net.

Spezza and Karlsson are beasts for Ottawa. I can't think of any other Dman-forward tandem with that much chemistry.
Was going to say something like this. Karlsson is not quite in the discussion yet as far as a league's best PP but he's absolutely sick on the point. His mobility and vision are amazing. He can score with his wrister or his slapper (allegedly over 100 mph), he can beat his defender and come down the wall to tape-to-tape the puck to a forward standing in front of the net, he can beat his defender coming into the middle to shoot, and his slap-pass is as good as any in the league's.
Karlsson's also good at moving the puck up into the zone because of his skating ability with the puck and his outlet pass. (Speaking of which, thinking of this asset made me wonder why Datsyuk wasn't on more lists).
Someone mentioned Gonchar but at this point Karlsson is (arguably significantly) better on the PP. IMO.
