So I really don't mean to sound pessimistic here (and my apologies if I do), but does anyone else here think a goalie change is in the cards for the 2nd period?

Could be. Could be the team wants/expects neuvirth to pick it up and play the way he can. Wait and see.

I doubt it.* The coaching staff is staying positive but the leash is surely shortening.

* I assume you mean a change to start the period. He lets in a softy as the next goal and there's a good chance.

As shaky as Neuvi looked, the D is letting alot of pucks and Buff players occupy their crease.. Im surprised they only got 2..

Yep.. Only having 1 (decent) puck mover on D is gonna play havoc until someone gets healthy.. That and of course the super pairing of TFS/Collins (Who?).. Yikees!!!

Yeah, to start the 2nd period is what I meant. Heh, sorry if that sounded vague.

My only problem with Archer is that whenever I hear his voice I can't think of anyone except for Coach McGuirk.

Suggested maybe a contract that is incentive-laden would be a smart idea since Knuble's of the age where that applies to him. I like keeping him around, especially is he's good for another 20+ goals next season at a reasonable cap hit. It's just kind of maddening waiting to see him catch fire in the 2nd half of the season.

That's not a problem, that's a bonus.

Hell of a run for VCU. Here's hoping Shaka stays and builds on this.
