CAR plays:
1) DET, who is fighting for 2nd in West with SJ
2) @ATL, nothing but pride
3) TB, playing for home ice

NYR plays:
1) ATL, playing for nothing
2) NJ, will be tough

So BUF and CAR both have two tough games, Rangers have one.
I wouldn't be too happy about that. The Rangers win tough games and piss away what should be easy points, time and time again.

Don't take anyone lightly.

Leighton on re-entry... he was great in last year's post season and would be much better backup than Johnson.. plus Biron is hurt...

Edit: Wait, I can't remember if there's some weird eligibility rule for waiver pickups so late in the season...

Leighton would not be allowed to play for us.

Honestly, aside from Saturday vs the Devils, one would hope that we don't need a backup goaltender from here on in.

I want a Kings-Rangers SC now. Two teams with injuries to arguably their most important players.

That's correct as Washington is currently #2 and we are currently #7. A lot can change in the next 4 days though.

Some huge games tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to watch a whole one. My web connection is still pretty fubar.

If the Leafs were to somehow make the playoffs...

Well I suppose i'd be pleased because that would mean we'd finish at least in 7th.

I got offered tickets to the Buffalo game tonight, second level behind the benches. I declined because I had no time to go home and change and I'm currently wearing my Henrik Lundvist shirt. I did not see my presence going well.

Could turn it inside out or pick up a 10 dollar shirt on the way over...

TB scores, 1-0 over Buffalo

Wanna hear the funny thing? The inside of the shirt has the lady liberty crest on it (it was a mistake). And if I could have picked up a 10 dollar shirt I would have just went home to change.

All these teams fighting for a spot keep winning.. It's ridiculous..where's all the "experts" saying it would take 89 points to make the playoffs.. Heck it's gonna take 94..

Rick Jeanerett, he's been in the PBP business for nearly 40 years, somehow.
