These are looking to be some awesome potential matchups:

Buffalo/Philly
NY/Washington
Tampa/Pittsburgh
Montreal/Boston

All look to be very entertaining. Can't wait for the 13th~.

Although it's just as likely it will end up:

NY/Philly
Buffalo/Washington

And that's assuming Montreal can hold off both us and Buffalo which is not a sure thing. Despite the fact only 3 games remain, the seeds are really still very much in flux. The only thing that looks pretty likely at this point is a Pitt/Tampa matchup...and even that one could have either team ending up with the home ice advantage. Should be a wild finish.

Regardless of how it ends, assuming we make it, we'll be in for a tough first round opponent.

Yea that's correct. In games between the Rangers and the Hurricanes:
Rangers: 4 Points
Hurricanes: 6 Points

If a second tie breaker determines whether or not the Rangers make the playoffs I will flip out....

I hope to God they win tonight....

A win would be great...but at the very least let's get a point out of this one. That (an OTL) would drop the magic number to 4. IF Detroit could help us out with a regulation win over Carolina on Wednesday we can clinch with a win vs. Atlanta on Thursday. Bottom line for tonight is get at least a point!

At least if it's decided by a second tiebreaker then we'll be closer to the playoffs than we were last year. That's evidence of progression, no???

If the rangers win Saturday against the devils... It will be a slow and painful death watching canes win or get a point Saturday night..

That depends on how Carolina does in their next two games. They lose on Wednesday and that Rangers win on Saturday can clinch it.

Umm the Rangers won. I see you gave up too early (we all did).

But first....2 1/2 hours of chanting "season's over!".

It's crazy how our next game will be streamed on Versus (MSG feed). Three national games in a row.

So with regards to the remaining schedules,

BUF plays:
1) TB, who is fighting for home ice w/ PIT
2) PHI, who is fighting for tops in conference w/ WAS
3) @CBJ, playing for nothing

CAR plays:
1) DET, who is fighting for 2nd in West with SJ
2) @ATL, nothing but pride
3) TB, playing for home ice

NYR plays:
1) ATL, playing for nothing
2) NJ, will be tough

So BUF and CAR both have two tough games, Rangers have one.

Lets go TB and Hawks tonight.

TB is battling Pitt for home ice in their potential 4-5 series. Vinny may not play after taking a stick to his right eye in the Hawks game. He is day to day.

Hawks need to win after losing to TB at home on Sunday.

Montreal plays their last home game of the season tonight. Remaining games are @Ottawa and @Toronto. Both of those teams would love to ruin Montreal's season.
