Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Well, since that "March is the playoffs" slogan completely blew up in their faces:

....There will be no April slogan.

Go Stars Go.

Clinch a playoff berth in your home finale? Yea, I think the Habs will be revved up a bit.

Definitely a Habs fan tomorrow.

"Grossman skated today and is improving. Burish was full out today and is improving," Stars coach Marc Crawford said. "Fistric skated today and is improving, so we'll see where he is tomorrow. I guess he may be a possibility. Burish and Grossman are probably a little bit later in the week as possibilities."

Kari Lehtonen will get the start in goal again.

I'm torn...

Normally, I'd like the CBJ to go to Dallas and kick the Stars' butts...

But, I'd rather have you in the playoffs than Chicago.

So, Go Stars Go. (and go Montreal)

The CBJ looked ok versus Chicago last Friday (lost in another shootout) but looked like complete garbage on Sunday versus St Louis (6-1). The team was skated hard on Monday.

Nash is definitely out (he didn't even make the trip). I think Mason is still on the shelf. Garon is playing himself OUT of a job. But, losing with no effort or self-respect REALLY seems to annoy the coaching staff (and Umberger). So, I have no idea what type of CBJ team will show up tonight in Dallas.

Everything updated. Didn't even realize Sutherby was injured. Not that I'm surprised, because when isn't he?

From the Dallas Morning News:

Quote:
Dallas Stars coach Marc Crawford said this morning that defenseman Mark Fistric will return to the ice and play tonight against Columbus at the AAC....Despite Fistric returning for the Stars, Crawford said he won't use seven defensemen tonight against Columbus and will instead go with six. The Stars could scratch Brad Lukowich or Jeff Woywitka, but Woywitka had a goal and an assist on Sunday.
http://starsblog.dallasnews.com/arch...o-play-to.html

Please Please Please scratch Woywitka.
