Gotta disagree, the entire powerplay was horrific, McCabe wasn't especially bad and he didn't screw up on the pp at all just nothing clicked. Defensivly McCabe was also pretty solid and he played quite a few minutes.

The Good: Never give-up, never-say-die attitude that this Ranger team has.
The bad: The PP needs work and McDonagh had a rough game.

I wasn't really paying attention when Sauer scored b/c Dubi had just scored and I was like "nah it would be too good if they scored back to back goals" and sure enough I look at my screen and see them celebrating and I flip out

The defense has truly been great over the last two games. I have no idea how Staal and Girardi absorb all those minutes.
They have to be exhausted but they were incredible tonight.

Oh yeah? You guys can thank me. I bet the house on the under 5.5 goals.

I had a strange calm this whole game. I am not sure if I resigned myself to loss, losing to Atlanta, then beating the Devils in the shootout only to miss the playoffs by the tiebreaker. Or maybe I felt they were going to find a way?

So many improbable wins lately. Dismantling the Flyers 7-0, scoring 5 on the Canadiens in the first, coming back to beat the Penguins in Pittsburgh after the Cookie elbow and tonight. Maybe something special is going on.

The Good: The resilience
The Bad: the fatigue
The Redden: Gaborik. Please beg for a trade. New York is just too much for you.

POTG: Michael Sauer
The Good: The absolute refusal to give up, Vinny Prospal, everyone on that team
The Bad: So called fans who wanted to throw in the towel after Kelly made it 3-0.
The Redden: Mike Milbury's post game comments.

Stunned, speechless. I can't say anything.

This team is capable of both truly great, and truly terrible things. After the Isles debacle, they come back with 2 wins against 2 quality opponents. POTG has to be Prospal. The guy never quits and never backs down.

It's time to take care of business. Win the next 2 and we might even be looking at the 6 seed if we get some help from Buffalo and Montreal.

POTG: Prospal.
Good: Boyle line played alot better.
Bad: McDonagh had a rough night.
Redden: Tim LOLmas.

Also, I wanted to publicly apologize for my flaming the other night in the Rangers-Isles GDT. Even though I felt, and still feel, that I didn't start things; I still contributed to, and perpetuated, the trolling/flaming cycle. That is not who I am, or how I wish to present myself. To anyone whom I offended (specifically Janerixon, and anyone else), please accept my apology.

I managed to get hold off myself just before Sauer's shot trickled over the line. Then I lost it again.

A few notes:

One more win and the Rangers equal their best total since the lockout (44)
Henrik Lundqvist now has two more wins (35) than Thomas (33) in the Vezina chase
Rangers win next game, 'Canes lose, then Staal should get a day off vs NJ. He looks shot.
Did any of you think the Rangers would be 43-32-5 at this point, last September? Not me. Shot at 95 points.
First time in 624 meetings that a team has won after being down 3-0 in NYR/BOS history. That's amazing.

If the team comes out flat like that in one of the biggest games they don't deserve my sweat and tears. They turned it on and played how they have to to win and they puulled out a huge W.

i believe that in the original GDT I said that this would be an epic period and the way we would define our season...said it beteen the 2nd and 3rd...look it up

i discovered a secret weapon tonight...as I grew doubtful I slipped on my Messier 93-94 jersey...it was literally as my head slipped through the neck hole the the pass to Dubi happened....crazy crazy crazy juju...

this team has that something

POTG: Prospal. Dude didnt give up and put the team on his back

The Good: The absurd comeback, Lundqvist playing well with no support for nearly half the game

The Bad: Glass man Gaborik being invisible, the atrociously bad 1st period and first 10 minutes of 2nd period.

The Redden: Me, myself, and I for nearly watching the Yankees game after being down 0-3

Staal, and the Pack line need a few nights off. Like others have said, they looked tired tonight.

Gaborik was flying yesterday against Philly. Not surprised he was mediocre. Did Chara play much against him tonight?

Do we win w/o Torts tweaking the lines? Seems like one of the few times this year that it worked well.

Props to Torts also for not auto-yanking Henrik after the 3-0.

But I can't shake the Vinny leadership, that talking on the bench clip. Magical. Messier - like.

I know Staal didn't play great the first half of the game (and God knows Versus kept reminding us of his TOI yesterday) but damn did he turn it around. +4, 25+ minutes and he all but set up the 1st goal. Good for him.

Awesome, awesome feeling right now.

OK guys, enough of the "Eat **** fake fans!" and "go **** yourself fake Rangers fans!"

If you want to talk about eating crow, blast people for quitting on the team, etc, that's more than fine...but no outright flaming.

First and last warning.

The Good: Prospal but I liked Stepan tonight. He wasn't as noticeable on the goals but I thought he played a hard game along the boards. Happy he was rewarded with the EN.
The Bad: the first 25-30 mins. It wasn't the worst I've seen but once they gave up the first goal this team lacked confidence.
The Redden: the TOI for some of these guys. I think they might need to put Staal and Girardi into medically induced comas so they can play on Thursday.
