Definitely good news for the forward depth, but I sincerely hope that Lindy doesn't try to stick him in the lineup right now. Nobody deserves to be yanked out right now and Pat has rarely been impressive this year even when healthy.

People that think Kaleta should be going need to wake up, the guy gives it his all every single shift, breaks bones blocking shots, takes killer cheapshots willingly so that the team gets the advantage and goes on the powerplay. Get real, these are the kind of people that bring home the cup.

That said if he's still unhealthy he shouldn't play, but if he's cleared to go full speed let him loose.

Right. Don't get me wrong I love Kaleta. Local boy works his ass off to play for the hometown club. He's like a Tim Kennedy that worked out.

I just wish he was durable enough to assert his will more, rather than being constantly injured.

Niedermayer or Mancari could be pulled in favor of Kaleta and the team wouldn't miss a beat.

Given the way Mark has bounced back and forth between the third and fourth line and more importantly how the Pirates have been a shambles for the last 7-8 games... I think the organization will send Mancari back if/when Kaleta is up to full game shape.

Kaleta will and should go in when ready to go.

He is certainly a better option than Mancari or Ellis and a better fit with Gerbe/Goose.
