Maloney gets paid per playoff game. If the team doesn't make the playoffs, the announcers lose out on playoff revenue too.

Lol, he mentioned that to Dubinsky in the postgame. I know people complain, but I love homer announcers.

I was right there with you. I also did some kind of freaky fist pumping arm slamming on the couch jumping leg kick dance thingy too. I'm pretty sure they covered part of it in a Blueman group rock concert movement.

Careful....bad audio...it's a loud show.

As far as Maloney goes, I thought I was listening to a sound clip from Jurrasic Park.
Dave pterodactyl Maloney.

And Jeez,... they could be twins.

Listening to it again now, LOL.

I love listening to Kenny and Homer Dave...that's what I call him. He's a homer but he can be very critical too.

I've been going to the Rangers site and listening to the archive. It's great stuff. Maloney literally sounds like he's gonna start crying. It's awesome. One of the most emotional games I've ever heard called.

Too bad you can only listen till tomorrow and then it's gone and replaced by the Atlanta game.
