But there is no ice in the Halifax Harbour, ever. The thing is too deep.

So technically, it doesnt make sense lol

It looks exactly like their logo last year, except with Minnesota Wild colors. Also the Grizz put more red in their logo to reflect their new partnership with the Coyotes.

Most of the AHL logos are quite nice and well designed if you ask me. I'd feel a heck of a lot more professional playing in their gear than the WHA gear. Of the three WHA logos unveiled so far, the Detroit one is the only one with some semblance that a graphic designer was paid to create something pleasant. I don't hold out much hope for the ones yet to be unveiled.

Trust me, there is no ice that forms on the Harbour.

You dont need "icebreaker" ships to get through the Harbour.

Exactly the harbour doesn't freeze.....an ice breaker is a ship that breaks through the ice soo why is there a fishermen holding a hockey stick....I live in Halifax and I don't know too many fishermen that live in HRM. Personally the logo and name is horrendous and looks like the symbol for some pee wee house league team

The Halifax logo looks like a bad ripoff of the New York Islanders horrendous short-lived Fishermen jersey. Thank God they went back to the original ones.
