Poor Smitty. He did need to go, but it's a shame it happened to such a nice guy. He really was amazing with the fans, everytime I ever saw him.

He's such a nice and fun guy. Too bad to see a once highly talented guy like him on the verge of his career due to injuries...

Agreed, a nice guy, shame it didn't work out but it was the right thing to do.

The best part of the Neil video was Fedoruk in the penalty box jumping up and smashing the boards. He wasn't much of a player but I always liked Todd after that.

I was gonna say that 3-0 lead that disappeared.
Ah Smitty, all heart but just had his brains scattered and wasn't the same after it. Atleast Roli is known to hand out a few slashes if necessary so its not all bad.

Nobody is going to trade us a draft pick for statistically one of the worst goalies in the NHL coming off another injury. We'll be very lucky if he even get's picked off waivers

If we get someone to trade for Smitty that opposing GM should automatically be fired.

yea, but that's one fly looking goat.. plus a goat can be a good thing if you let it in your stadium.. and if you ban it, you'll be cursed for 100 years (See: Chicago Cubs)

Probably waived right away in the hopes he will clear and be able to go to Norfolk seeing as Desjardin is injured.

No offense to Smitty, but I just can't see him getting his game back anytime soon, and his contract is up at the end of the season anyway. Besides, no GM is going to give up anything of value when they know you have to get rid of a player.

I doubt the Lightning hurt Tokarski's development by playing Smith who won't be in the organization next year.
