I am officially De-Jinxing your post: DE-JINX!!!

There, that does that.

I really do not think we want to play Philly or Caps first round. Pronger will be back, and Caps are just really playing tight, and they have you know who. They will also be seeking revenge, big time.

Let them play someone else and at worst get a few injuries, at best, get knocked out. Even Crapsburgh has a chance at 1 or 2 overall and Crosby might be back, don't really want to play them either.

Buff has a HUGE game for us against Phlyers next. If Buff wins it, we need 3 points next 2 games because Buff play Columbus (of all the sucky teams, geez) the next day.

Therefore it would be advisable to start Carey against Ottawa Thursday and really gun for 2 points, and hope Buff ties or loses at home to a desperate and still strong Phlyers.

If that happens, rest the entire damn team against Trona. Honestly. Start the bulldogs at Air Canada centre Saturday.

If however we win and Buff beats Philly in reg, we need that one point in Trona, which is a bummer, it means no one gets a week off to rest.

In summary: A win against Ottawa on Thursday is huge for us.

No worries, I think every Hab knows this.

Dags had plenty of chances and the players basically kicked SKost and Grabs off the team for being cancers. They both picked up their ball and went home when things didn't go their way.

So Subban got, on his rookie season, the POCG: the Playoff-Clinch Goal.

That's an unusual honor. Congrat! :-)

One little lesson opposing players should learn is "don't try to blow up Lars Eller with a hit because you'll be taking a tumble".
Victims:
James Neal
Troy Brouwer.

Congrats on making the playoffs!

Frankly, there will be a small part of me cheering the Habs on in the postseason, and especially against Boston (if you play them).

Good luck!

Under no circumstances should Price or Cammy play against Toronto. Too many freak things could happen.

Price was amazing

Hawks couldn't afford to lose this game ,, Big blow to Hawks playoff hopes and honestly this defeat was pretty demoralizing for our fans

Haven't felt this down since the Bears fell in NFC Championship game a few months back

Amazing game to watch probably the best in NHL this year. But the result is pretty devastating

Congrats on clinching playoff spot

I was looking at the standings in the West and the Hawks didn't look like they were in that bad shape to get the 8th spot. Who do you think poses a danger to your hopes?

The Stars

We both play 3 games

Hawks play Blues and Wings (twice)

Stars play Wild and Avs (twice)

Avs are horrendous and Wild are all battered up. The Stars will likely finish season 3-0

Pretty dire

Hawks currently have tiebreaker #1 with 1 moe regulation win then Stars (But that could change easily) and the Stars won season series so Hawks really cant afford to finish with same pts

Sharp wont be back it looks like until Sat at best , Brouwer's season is likely done and Bolland is not recovering from his concussion well (Small progress but his year is likely done as well)

Just an absoutely brutal finish to season for Hawks

Thanks, I'm one of the rare Habs fans that was routing for the Leafs to get in too, I'm sure I'll be disowned on here for saying that, but, I love how much both of our favourite teams annoy this place and was hoping for the double-troll this spring, hopefully next year.

It looked pretty bad for us too just 2 games ago. Lost 6-2 in Carolina and were playing our nemesis Brodeur in NJ and the defending champs. We won both. Sometimes yo win when you least expect it.

The Wings also have nothing to play for really, so you guys can win both. (Just like the Oilers won both vs the Canucks)

Anaheim isn't a lock and they have a tough schedule as well with San Jose and LA twice.

Wings are trying to win #2 seed

And the Hawks are a mess right now

This could very well be our lineup for game vs Blues tommorrow

Bickell-Toews-Hossa
Frolik-Kopecky-Kane
Stalberg-Kruger-Pisani
Scott-Johnson-Dowell

The loss of Sharp and Bolland was devastating for us given our lack of quality depth this year

Anaheim has tiebreakers over Hawks so we would need to accumulate more points. Possible but unlikely

I still believe the Hawks make playoffs but it is extremely dicey right now

You still have more talent on the top 2 lines than the whole Habs team combined.

San Jose is fighting Detroit for second place and LA has a shot at possibly 4th and home ice in 1st round. I would not be surprised to see the Ducks only win one game of their remaining three. If the Blackhawks can get a win and tie I think you're good. Now those Detroit games will be tough since they would love nothing better than to knock out Chicago from the playoffs but if Crawford plays like he did against Montreal you'll make it.

And there are rumors that Toews is playng with injured shoulder (Given his lackluster play I believe it)

Take it on the bright side, if Plekanec's shot was 1 inch on the left late on the third, you guys would probably end up with no point at all.

I sincerely hope you guys make it in the west. Another Blackhawks vs. Canucks series would be epic.
