I think Turco has a bit too much fun on that bench.. opening the door on Polak a while back, betting money with a habs fan, and he gets paid for that lol

I've always liked Turco. Thought he'd reignite his career by playing for the hawks, it's too bad this Crawford guy is a real diamond in the rough. He looked to be a solid starter.

I'm at school, and there is no audio card on the PC's. (nor can I install one because of admin password) Can anyone tell me what was the bet?

I could see how the fan gave Turco the 5 dollar bill. But how does Turco pull out bills during over-time?? Carries around his own wallet?

Either way.. story is funny.

LOL if Turco suspends him for gambling.

He made the bet in the first and doubled it after each period, so he obviously knew there was a chance of losing, so in between periods, he obviously grabbed some money.

Awesome story though.

There was no "wad of $5 bills" exchanged between Turco and a fan last night. Turco says he gave back the original $5. Good, clean fun...

thanks for the breaking news dreger

That's what I expected.
Fan just probably wanted to look like he got the last laugh at the end or something..

Well he will eventually accept of being a back up, maybe he would want to play here behind Price in the near future

I thought that was obvious, the fan gave Turco 5-1 odds correct? So the fan would've paid out $25 to Turco if Hawks had won the game. I've always like Turco, seems like a really good guy.

Watch Turco will receive a greater punishment from the league than Chara did. Just watch. I'll bet you $5 Canadian dollars.

That is hilarious, wonder how funny the coach thinks it is since the backup should be watching the game in case he has to come in but meh all in good fun I guess.
