Probable lineup. That is not good.

Forwards:
Samsonov - Reasoner - Bergfors
Booth - Santorelli - Skille
Dadonov - Kennedy - Repik
Hordichuk - Carter - Bernier

Defense:
Weaver-Garrison
Kulikov-Ellerby
Callahan-Wilson

Clemmensen

Target #1 is exactly why I want him with Hannan. Hannan will go interfere with and legally impede the easily predictable swarm of forecheckers that will be making their way to hit 52. Sarge, its just not his game. Hannan will be close by at all times. Thats exactly what Green will need. Dare I say book it.
Green gets targeted because the team allows him to be targeted. Keep him protected in a limited role. To hell with keeping Schultz comfortable.

Bruce has shown little inkling to ever reduce Green's workload. Even in the face of injuries, ineffectiveness, great play from those behind him (think Pothier and Juice vs Pitt)... but this concussion thing should have Bruce rethinking that. He should now have faith in Carlson and Hannan ( >>> Juice and Pots).

This seems destined for one of those 'play to the level of opponent' games.

SWhyno | Stephen Whyno | Alexander Semin remains a "game-time decision" according to #Caps coach Bruce Boudreau.

it was awesome. man the boards rattle hard.... international rules so no real fighting happened last night, but Australia vs NZ in anything is usually pretty passionate, so saturday ill be loading up in the bar beforehand then yelling out "rip that sheep *#*($%'s head off" for 60 minutes. cant wait!

also, the ice looks a LOT more crowded in person. and you just have angles and non angles for passes and interceptions that you dont see on tv. was just sick.

I know it's cause I have little girls who love Disney, but I cant say santorelli just once.

Overtime is a must. Two Pts is bonus.

After seeing the Caps' lines and pairings, I can't be 100% that they want to win this game, either. If #8 was scratched, I'd be sure of it.

(Oddly enough, this isn't a criticism.)

I feel like there are a large number of guys they want to sit for a game, because to me it makes sense to do the major scratches next game, and save the trip. Then again they may care more about finishing the season with a strong, full(ish) strength game
