Tank Thread - Scoreboard Watching

Isles get a point in OTL. They are only three points ahead of the Panthers at this point.

Toronto leads Montreal in 1st. A win moves them 4 points behind.

Heh, I already updated this in the draft thread. But I guess this is a good thread just for this purpose.

This thread will jinx everything and the Panthers will end up with the 7th overall pick or something.

Sens play the Sabres tonight and NJ plays Tampa.

Lets hope we can gain (or lose?) ground on them.

wouldn't it be sweet to win the lottery and have #1 overall..man that would make the year worth it.

we'd probably trade it for the 8th overall and a 5th round pick tho.

COL lost.
OTT won.
TOR got a point.

Critical to lose tonight's game vs. NJ.

Can't believe we have to worry about the Avs passing us now. They've been just awful.

Anyone care to look at how much we'll be under the cap in the off-season, and how much we'll have to spend in order to at least be at the floor? Just interested since so much is coming off the books.

What if Ed Belfour was a General Manager, though. I'd imagine it like a drinking game...

Belfour David, before we renegotiate your contract, I'll need you to drink this bourbon.
Booth I'm fine with water, thank you.
Belfour Suit yourself, then. More for me. chugs glass of bourbon Awright, how murch do you warnt per year?
Booth Honestly, I'd do this for free. I love playing hockey and I love being in Florida.
Belfour pours another glass, takes a swig Oh, looky-looky, playing hardballs aren't we, Boothy? Well, **** you, surfer-boy.
Booth Um, what?
Belfour takes bourbon bottle, empties it down his throat Lishen, Boosh, read dis an' weep, *****!
Booth takes what appears to be a contract written in colored magic marker Um, excuse me, but does this say the term length is 100 years? And, I believe there's no such thing as a "zillion dollars"
Belfour Looks like we has a deal, Booshy! passes out, collapsing to the floor

Is it kind of sad that we've been sticking with this team for that long that we can laugh at that reference? Seriously, we're freaking troopers
