Hey, I'm not saying our present OC is a modern day Bill Walsh. Olson's a spaz.

That's more Olson and 5's fault, since they LOVE throwing to Williams. Benn is a pretty solid player and he did a lot with a HORRIBLE QB with the Illini.

According to John Clayton, Morris was to be fired Monday but the coaching staff was already too thin.

Yeah, the vultures are starting to circle One Buc Place now. I figured the last game was pretty much the door slamming on his career here as a head coach but being both the HC and DC there wasn't going to be a coaching change till the end of the season. Even if they do keep Rah and fire assistant coaches, who's going to come and coach here with a HC on a 1 year contract?

People may be thinking that the other teams that already fired their head coaches have a jump on the other teams but you can bet if the Glazers are shopping, they've already got feelers out.

As for Raheem, he can see rainbows and sunny skies all he wants, but the end of the rainbow will be in 3 weeks.

That's a ******** call, but the lead up was still classic 2011 Tampa Bay Buccaneers football. Turnover by Freeman followed by soft, slow defense and a touchdown.

It may have been a bad call but does it really matter?

14-0 Cowboys still in the first quarter.

Haha, four guys standing in the endzone with a Dallas receiver twiddling his thumbs right in the middle of all of them. Two possessions, two drives, two TDs.

Another 40 point game forthcoming.

Yeah Winslow, firing Raheem will "ruin" the Bucs.

Elbert Mack is the single worst ****ing player in the NFL, and its daylight to to second. And yet, he's been on the team seeing regular reps for three damn years.

28-0 momentarily. Did I say 40? Because I meant 60.

Notice how the only time we moved the ball all game was when Freeman was allowed to no huddle? And when Olson takes control again, we dump off to Lumpkin for a 3 yard gain on our own 10.

Fire him. Tomorrow. Make Alex Van Pelt or Steve Logan the interim OC, and just no huddle every play the last two weeks.

As bad as we look, this team does have some good players but this rebuilding method is just plain wrong and this coaching staff is just way over its collective head. This team really lacks leadership that would come from some vets and as much as I like Ronde, he's just not vocal like a Derrick Brooks or Sapp.

I'm still going to stick with Freeman as this kid has no vertical speed receivers to throw to and the o-line just can't hold off the rush long enough for him to find anyone open right now. I'm tired of hearing this "lockout" excuse because every team experienced it and we've lost to the worse of them....badly.

As for the defense, this is just all-out poor coaching and choice of players in key situations and that falls on Raheem.

It may be a stupid analogy, but it's like making a cake. You screw up the ingredients, it sucks, you throw it out...Sorry Raheem, but your sunny skies are about to turn to rain showers....

I've seen a number of posts online with the question "Why are the Bucs so bad when they went 10-6 last year?"

Here's why - 2010 Schedule:
Opponents combined W-L record: 122 W - 134 L.
Only 4 teams had winning records: Steelers, Baltimore, New Orleans (2x), Atlanta (2x) and we lost to all 4 (Falcons twice).
We beat 1 team with a winning record: New Orleans (last game of season - Saints rested players).

So....take it as it is....

*Bucs currently pick 6th in draft despite losing to Jax

And the Bucs played the NFC West, which was epically bad.

Especially last year.

Interesting to note also, that under Raheem's tenure, the Bucs have only scored 30 points in 4 of the last 46 games. How many games was it before they finally scored a touchdown in the 1st quarter against the Jags?

Here's a list of the Bucs FA class for 2012:
UFAs: Ronde Barber, Earnest Graham, Geno Hayes, Josh Johnson, Sean Jones, Elbert Mack, Frank Okam, Jeremy Zuttah
RFAs: Conner Barth, Michael Bennett, LeGarrette Blount, Brandon Gilbeaux, Dominique Johnson, Kregg Lumpkin, Corey Lynch, Preston Parker
