OT: Festival d'été de Québec

Just looked at the line-up for the Festival d'été de Québec and I can't believe how Québec City could bring that many international artists in a one week festival:

Iron Maiden
Supertramp
Arcade Fire
Santana
RUSH
Black Eyed Peas
Billy Talent
Rammstein

All that in 11 days? I want this in Montreal too!

Anyway yeah that guy who said they suck is either kidding or ********. Rush + Supertramp alone would make an amazing duo.

It needs moar Semibruce as well.

Maybe some Jonathan Roy ? La Dispute would be awesome, but they're not very known and from Michigan.

I'm not even sure what I just started. I thought Malajube would be popular. Montréal -40 is a catchy tune...

I said Rush was good...

I like Montréal -40 and one, or two other songs. I like pretty much anything except for Country music.

Yeah but you're going to pay much more than 45$ for all these shows (and many more).

I never thought I'd see the day when someone from Montreal complains about concerts.

Malajube is awesome music. People who laugh at Malajube or can't appreciate at least some of their song don't have good musical taste.

Saw Iron Maiden at the flats in Ottawa for the Bluesfest two nights ago. Absolutely legendary, epic, unforgettable...all those hyperbolic words put into one. These guys are born to be showmen, as well as musicians. They're also very grounded and down-to-earth, they give off a great vibe, the crowd loves it. It'd be worth going just for them, but the rest of the lineup looks generally cool, maybe I'll make a road-trip down with some friends. Can't go wrong in Quebec City either.

Probably around that... I think there were 90 000 people for KISS last year.
