Takes 2 weeks and I have a Chuck Norris beard going on. I havent shaved in a month so I already have a serious one right now. But I need to leave it for our annual cinco de mustache BBQ

The winner of the best PO beard (started when they made post season) should win Cognition's SNOGing title.

That beard will be 3-2 inches long, and list all the highest goal scorers.

Don't acknowledge him, he wants the attention.

All he'll get is a higher spot in the Avatar Draft anyway, I can get that from voting.

I'm doing it, but I can't let it roam free. Gonna take care of it a bit but still sport something. I thought my Scottish roots would prove useful in the beard field, but no luck so far.

Likewise. It's basically an excuse to not trim my beard.

That sounds like something that's probably illegal in California. Discrimination against hairy people! Tell your boss you've converted to a religion that requires a beard, and you're going to sue him like nobody's business if they fire you.

I'm growing one but will keep it slightly trimmed only because if I don't I won't get any action from my girlfriend during these hopefully long 2 months of playoffs.

I'll definitely be doing playoff facial hair...still deciding if i want to do the full beard because the facial hair on my cheeks is very patchy and I always look ridiculous.

Thinking of maybe doing a playoff goatee and just trimming the rest of the facial hair, no shaving though.

Bahahah yeah same here. When I grow out a 'stache I get basically the same results as him. I'll have to decide whether or not to have one pretty soon.

Should be awful but I'm looking forward to it regardless.

They don't understand the virtue of "playoff beards" in this country unfortunately

Haha yeah I know what you mean! I've got a group of mates who follow hockey, one is a Shark fan, the other a Blackhawk, the other a Bruin and the last is a Penguin, and this year we are all doing he playoff beard! Mine isn't really a beard it's kinda like a filthy Dan Carcillo moustache! My Sharks mate has a beard exactly like Jumbo's beard so his is epic.

Straight razor shaved when they clinched last week (Screw you guys starting at the end of the season.)

Hoping to lumberjack it by the end of the month!

Unfortunately, I can't grow the playoff beard because in my line of work its not allowed. Its a shame. Too bad I can't lend Juicy my beard. I think his is going to be pretty pathetic again this year.

Taking the Patrick Marleau 08-09 approach, I see? Or was it 07-08... either way.

BJ's won't let me rock a sick beard.

Therefore several coworkers and I will band together with our goatees and turn them into playoff mustaches.

See, why are mustaches are allowed by the society but not beards? I'd rather look like a terrorist than a pedophile.

So yeah, I'll do the "final shave" Saturday afternoon or something in advance of a family birthday party. That's close enough.
