^^^ This. BJ's won't seem as family friendly, when there's half a dozen guys walking around the place, looking like Officer Dangle from Reno 911, handing kids their crayons.

I prefer the jihad look, myself.

I haven't shaved since 91. Does it count or I should shave and start over for playoffs?

OK, is it bad if I shave tomorrow before the last reg season game? The haircut is ruining the schedule.

Oh hockey Gods, show me the sign (and by that I mean a response from HFers).

If you really want to have a playoff beard, shaving before the regular season over is probably fine.

However, I will NOT be growing a playoff beard.

When is the last shave technically supposed to commence? The day of the first playoff game or the day before?

I think it is after the last season game ends? Don't quote me on that though.

First time since I could grow a beard, I will not be partaking with a playoff beard due to work. But don't worry I will be working all the playoff games and clean shaven

I think the rule states that if you can't grow a playoff beard (for whatever reason) then your wife/girlfriend has to grow her clam beard for the duration of the playoffs. Tough luck, bro.

Time to do some job searching. Back to the daily Craigslist grind.

Screw it, too lazy to shave right now and it's fairly short anyway. I'll do either after I get home from the family party, or not at all.

come on guys, if ur gonna do the playoff beard, it doesnt matter when you started it, as long as you dont shave from the final whistle tonight until san jose wins the cup or is knocked out *knock on wood*

that means no trimming, no syling etc. lets get serious here, its either all or none.

if work wont let you, do it up anyways!

Yes I do, I'm an usher.

As a male usher, you need to be clean shaven or can have a full beard and mustache. So technically the ushers who already have beards can continue to grow their beards, but you can't start growing one from scratch (if that makes sense).

Definitely growing mine as I do every year. I just shaved yesterday and hope for greatness. Luckily, my two teams are both the #2 seeds, so that's gotta be some kind of good luck, right? (I sure hope so, the finals defeat last year for the Flyers had me tremendously down). First photo is me yesterday and second is me at around the time of the Chi series last year.

Heh, i noticed that Seto was giving Loco a hard time lately on Twitter. But i think it's just because of their playoff beard competition. Still pretty funny though:

Make sure to pledge for me to raise some money, @Logancouture can't even grow a beard all he's got is his greasy little mustache
