Great game tonight. FC Edmonton 3 Atlanta 0. All goals scored in second half as Edmonton had their way by then.

Moves us into a 4th place tie with Minnesota.

Over 1,600 fans took in the action on a nice summer evening sitting in tshirt and shorts enjoying the entertaining game.

This could be a playoff team in their inaugural season.

I agree. Great second half last night. Hopefully this team can build some momentum down the stretch (only 6 games left) and secure a home playoff spot.

FC Edmonton begin a 3 game home stand tonight against Minnesota @730. I'll be making the journey in for the 3rd game of the home stand on the 11th!

Also, Just a reminder. Canada begins their road to the World Cup tonight against St Lucia @ 6pm on sportsnet one!

Good update. I've got a pair of tickets for tomorrow's game. I'm looking forward to it. Edmonton has a chance to really put some distance between themselves and their rivals.

The team also released their early bird season ticket offer for 2012. It looks pretty solid, I'm definitely considering getting in on that.

So I read FC Edmonton qualified for the playoffs in their inaugural season. Congrats! I hope they can build a solid fan base. For those that attend, on average, what would you say the attendance is? Is the crowed a lively bunch? I remember reading a tweet from Gregor a couple of months ago, asking if Edmonton needs to build a 10,000 seat soccer stadium. Would a soccer-only stadium work in Edmonton? Could FC Edmonton attract enough fans?

So now that I am moving back to Edmonton, I will make sure to catch as many games as I can (or hopefully all of them) next season.
It's about time I can finally catch a good live soccer matches.

Step in the right direction. Coming into the season we all thought we would be a typical expansion team so I am happy about that.

Really wish I had the sudden funds to buy the early bird season tickets Will still go either way.
