What a huge turn over for the buds this year. Out with the old and in with the new. For me, it was an exciting team to watch for most of the year and you are going to get that with such a young team.

you have the right idea, but 3rd line has 2 LWers and 4th line has 2 RWers

Why does everyone get these wrong. I don't know why, but it drives me ****ing crazy.

They both play on the RIGHT SIDE. Watch a Leaf game.

Phaneuf is a left handed LD, playing with a Aulie, a right handed RD

If you add Armstrong to our lineup it would be very solid. I say we let this roster play it out next year and hopefully they make the playoffs and develop as a team. I think we have a very good chance of making the playoffs, and if we somehow don't then we get a good 1st round pick in a solid draft

Why are you so angry?

Do you not understand the purpose of the post? It is a general line up. All the pairings are correct.

Sorry for not putting the correct positions, the point of the thread was just to show the turnover of players.

Also, I'm not sure if Frattin is going to play on the left side.

I'd like to point out that I love the core of this team. Having Kessel, Phaneuf, Kadri, Colborne, Schenn and now Lupul. I'm glad that BB could build around the first 5 (-Lupul) and it looks good moving forward.

Also, I have to say that I haven't heard Versteegs name in a while. Can't say that I miss him.

I find it amazing that we have had a line stay together for most of the entire season. Can't remember the last time that happened.

I think you can fix our 3rd line closing day to:

Kadri - Bozak - Frattin

Crabb probably dropped to fourth with Rosehill being the odd man out.

I was thinking that the other day.

I think the last time was Antropov, Sundin, Ponikarovsky ... or was it?

My guess is that's how the game might end, but putting him on a 3rd line isn't Wilson's style. But then again, he's allowing Colborne to centre the 1st line, so who knows?

Was that how the lines looked at practice?

Also, I'd imagine that he pairs up Kadri and Colborne by the end of the game. They played a bit with the Marlies, so hopefully Wilson gets creative in a nothing game.

And its not like the improvements were in minor positions.

Improvements include a top line winger, a starting tender, and a top pairing defenceman.

I'm going to see how both Frattin and Colborne adjust to playing each role.

To be fair, take away injuries our lineup would be:

Kulemin -- Grabovski -- Macarthur
Lupul -- Bozak -- Kessel
Armstrong -- Boyce -- Kadri
Brown -- Brent -- Orr

That would be 9 of the 12 we started with (Zigo, Sjoe and Vertseg)
