I think armstrong played with Sjostrom opening night.

But yeah, a massive turnaround for sure.

That's the line I was thinking of as well. Every coach tried breaking them up occasionally, just like the Kulemin-Grabo-Mac line, but they always ended up back together by the end of the night or for the next game.

This is probably the greatest success story for this team in years. The emergence of that line, plus solid play from Luke, Gunnar, Aulie and Dion is such a great start to this chapter.

Can't believe another years coming to an end, no more leafs games to watch with the boys and have a few.

It's always such a sad part of the year specially when we don't get to go to the dance, the play-offs are always great and I enjoy them don't get me wrong but it sucks not being able to cheer your team on.

All in all I think we had a good year, it was a failure like BB said but come on boys, this team has definatly grown together and become much better, the talent we've been able to get well still playing at an elite level just blows my mind sometimes acquiring Gardiner, Colborne and 2 first round draft picks and STILL since the all-star break have a top 10 record (top5) if I'm not mistaken is amazing.

So well your getting drunk at your cottage this summer, or waken up every morning in July waiting for Burke to do something, just remember that this team has finally got some serious talent in it's youth for once and is beginning to look like a TEAM think Richards days.

Next Year Predictions-
Playoffs, REIMER huge year, Kadri with 20G, Colborne with 50+ points, Grabo and Kuli keep up there pace from this year, Phenuef pots 10+Goals 40+ points and finally Kessel (healthy) 40+ goals.

Kind of confirms the ideological failure of Burke's top six bottom six philosophy, doesn't it?

OR you don't understand Burke's top six bottom six philosophy. He want's his top 2 lines somewhat of the way they are, with a #1 centre, and possibly a little bigger. He wants his 3rd line to be gritty but ALSO be able to score, like a line full of Armstrongs. Then he wants his 4th line to be the tough gritty guys, good at forechecking, PKing and puck possession, like a Mike Brown.
