Henrik hasn't looked comfortable in this game. You definitely want to see him stop at least one of those two goals. He might be choosing the wrong time to have a bad game. Maybe he is just nervous, but I can't imagine that considering the performance he had against the Flyers last year, facing elimination, and the fact he has played a Gold Medal game. But he looks uncomfortable and he'll have to really elevate his play.

Kovalchuk looks unreal right now. He completely dominated that last shift. Skating in and out of players, having plays draped on top of him, and still being able to get off a decent shot. We will have to shut him down.

Don't use it on yourself. Just line up Dolan and Sather. Problems solved.

So far this one is on Torts for not dressing Avery, and on Hank for forgetting he's paid to actually stop the puck.

Lundqvist looks a bit off, no?

Maybe its me, but the whole garden seems a little quiet.

Just kidding.
Still 40 minutes to go. We'll get them. We still have a pulse.

We fumble around & battle every puck trying to finish & he snipes one short side top shelf with prospal all over him.

Sums up the whole season

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that Kovalchuk is having a good game. A guy that the Rangers could have had that fills a huge need the Rangers have if only Sather didn't give out ridiculous contracts to players who just don't deserve them.

They need Gaborik in the second and third period. If he will not show up and make some miracle they are done. By the way, Kovalchuk will get a hat trick today.

Lundqvist can't perform under pressure. I've come to realize this. Maybe the pressure is too much but for far too long has he choked under pressure when goalies like Ward, Miller, Halak , etc thrive under pressure.

If anyone rates Lundqvist over Richter they ought to get their head checked. He hasn't accomplished ****.

That means nothing in this game. I don't give a **** if he's won 6 Vezina's, he needs to stop that shot.

I disagree. Avery is not half the player he was for us at one time. He doesnt bring much anymore. He had an awful turnover leading to a goal last game as well.

If that's the GWG we'll have a whole summer of Hank trade proposals to read on here.

Kovalchuk just might. It won't help. The Rangers will win today AND the Canes will lose tonight.

You'll see.

Last time I checked the Devils are in 12th place and didn't do jack until they started trapping again. What's your point?

where is it?

Scoring two goals in an absolutely meaningless game does not make you a "winner". Now, he'll be in his 8th season with no playoffs out of 10.

Devils will trap the rest of the way knowing NYR can barely score a goal a game..
