About halfway through the season I was really wondering if Gerbe had it in him to be a pro hockey player - he seemed lost and lacking confidence. Tonight I think was his statement game that he's absolutely a top 6, maybe even a top line forward in the NHL.

Vanek's OT goal was gorgeous...lull them to sleep and then turn on the speed

I went to a movie with the girl I love tonight so I missed the 1st and 2nd but got out just in time for the 3rd. Glad I did. We're going to the playoffs!

That was awesome. Seeing Vanek win it, the players giving their jerseys away to the fans and then Miller skating around pumping up the crowd was just a ridiculous way to end tonight.

The ****ing Hilarious:
-Both teams standing around waiting for OT!
-Miller pumping up the crowd!

The Good:
-Back in the playoffs!
-Gerbe is a tank. His 2nd goal should be on Sportscenter's Top 10 plays.
-Vanek beasting it up out there as well. 1 G, 2 A , including that awesome GWG in OT.
-Pretty much all of the forwards
-Butler and Gragnani were solid when the rest of the D ranged from awful to mediocre.
-The whole Fan-Appreciation/Alumni night was spectacular. One of the greatest regular season experiences in recent memory.

The Bad:
-The rest of the D, especially Monty. The team greatly missed Sekera tonight.
-The SHG and the PP

The Ugly:
-Carcillo. You're a joke buddy. Quit yappin' & BSing. Focus on playing hockey, tool.
