Predators tear B.C. community apart!

I feel like a traitor for continuing to root for the Canucks. What have you done!

Gotta love the optimism. By all means, if more BCers want to root for the Predators, we got room on the bandwagon up here.

As evidenced by my 2,000+ posts on here, i'm just too much of a hardcore Canucks fan to ever not cheer for the team. Preds will continue to be my #2 team for a long while though. So long as the winner of this series wins the cup i'll have an awesome summer.

I don't. Canucks always win with me, hometown boys are an after thought.

Although good luck in the game tonight, Rinne was rock solid again on Thursday night.

I'm an Oilers fan and I want the Canucks to win.

I'm despised by co-workers for jinxing the Hawks in game 7: in a nutshell I watched Game 4 with a friend at a south side bar and the Canucks lost, he wanted me to watch Game 7 with him at the same place and I flat out refused.

I'll even wear Canucks stuff if it'll make a difference (and give it to cousins in BC after).

Bring the Cup back to Canada!

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Canucks dont have many Canadian players. I mean Kesler, Sweds all great players but Nash have more canadians.

why didn't BC residents cheer for the blackhawks last season ? they have Brent Seabrook and had Andrew Ladd?
Or Edmonton whos GM is from B.C and arguably their best player Shawn Horcoff?
I love these two Canadian boys but I will never cheer for a rival team!
Its the same as me saying that I will cheer for USA because Kesler, Ballard and Schneider are American.
(Don't bash me for this! this is just my opinion).

On the bright side, we don't have to worry about it. Our hometown guy plays for us.

The point isn't that they're Canadian it's that they're both from that small town and those people are going for them.

Yep, its a pretty big point of pride for us that so many ex-residents have been drafted and signed to contracts. (Weber, Franson, Colin Fraser, Kris Beech, Andrew Kozek, Kris Hogg). Basically 3% of every graduating class for a few years was drafted into the NHL.

i think it has more to do with they played in their home RINK not just their city... And if you watched the video (not saying you didnt ) that rink they are from (Franson and Weber) had like 7-8 players drafted to the nhl total and out of those 7-8 players 2 of them are on the Predators, thats a pretty good reason to cheer them on, In my opinion.

Kris Beech was a Pred also LOL
Great video you expect Weber's Grandmother and Franson's Dad to pull for the Predators but the whole town is on the Bandwagon.
