I'm so proud of this team

I know. We've all said it (or at least thought it) - "Until this team has success in the playoffs, they haven't accomplished anything." I know I've said it. I still find myself saying it now. Will I be upset if they flame out again, probably. But what this team is doing this year, what they've done in the past 7 years, really cannot be ignored.

I love being a Preds fan.

I'm proud of this team. There's something charming about it. I guess I'd always rather be the underdog that the favorite. It makes winning all the more enjoyable. And to know that on virtually any given knight, we're outmatched on paper - The other team should win if you look just at the rosters and the payrolls. But the Preds win, and they win a lot. I think only 2 other teams have won more consistently since the lockout. That's amazing! That's so much fun. And we do it our way.

Think about how many meaningless games the Preds have had. In recent memory, I can count of about 2 or 3. So while I'm cheering so hard for us to finally have a deep playoff run, it's a ball being a Nashville Predators fan.

I've gone to games since Day 1.

These are the first playoffs I won't be living in Nashville for, therefore unable to go to games (and home playoff games are one of the things I live for).......so we will win a series at the least. That's how the world works. We'll be fine.

But with that said, I agree.

These will be the first playoff games where I've lived in the southeast in five years. I was on leave and got to see one playoff game last year. That won't be the case this year.

I proudly tell people the main reason for my move from Knoxville to Nashville was THE NASHVILLE PREDATORS. Hardly anybody believes me, but it's real.

The first hockey game I went to I was eight and it was our 2nd game ever, first win. I got hooked right then. I love this team and sport X1000000000000 more than any other sport.

You said it perfectly my friend.

Being at the playoff games is such an amazing feeling. The atmosphere, fast pace, everything. Im getting goosebumps thinking about it. Cant wait

I'm coming home from the 19th to 23rd. Here's to hoping we will get some home games in those days. Without home ice advantage it should work out that way. Guess we'll find out in about 30 minutes when the playoff schedule is released. (9pm central)

I am a die hard fan since day one. I love this team but not always "proud" of them. At least win the division at some point, make it the conference finals, or heaven help us win a cup and give me something to be proud of you for.
