Probably not the right time to look back....but if Dallas had not let that the goal in against Los Angeles on the home stand with 20 or whatever seconds left in the game...and had got to overtime and still lost...all they would have to do tonight is win and they're in. *sigh*

If we knew how to hold a lead against Anaheim twice, then we would be in already and Anaheim would probably be out. I'm convinced that the epic meltdown with 5 seconds left in that one game is what propelled the Ducks to do what they've done. If we hold on those two games, that's +2 for us and -4 for them.
I admit... I am hoping that it comes down to the Stars having to pull their goalie in a tie game to win and do it to get in. Just for how unique it would be.
The intro. says win and in (if Chicago loses). My math has it that a Dallas shoot-out win would not be enough, right?
I think you guys are having a stealer comeback streak, props for that! I'm not trying to throw jab's but I'm fuzzy on the math here. How is it possible for the Stars to still make the Playoffs? What technicality am I missing? all the Ties Favor Chicago even if they loose. My only guess is that NHL.com's stats are wrong or something?
I hope you guys do make it, cause that would mean our entire division made it in. That would show the rest of the league what a Bad ass the Pacific Division really is!

If Chicago loses in regulation and the Stars win, then the Stars and Hawks are tied in points. The tie-breaker then goes to ROW (Regulation or Overtime wins), which would be a tie as well (which means the Stars have to win before a shootout). After that, it goes to head-to-head matchups, and the Stars are 3-1 versus the Blackhawks this season so they would get in...

Looks to me like someone just doesn't want to play Chicago in round 1.

After hearing about Kari's quirk of building his own personal information bubble, I bet he won't know the outcome of the Detroit/Chicago game at all. He'll be playing like the playoffs are on the line either way.
How sweet would it be to end the week knowing we made the playoffs kicking off the defending cup champs?
Really hopes this happens, GO STARS GO!!! GO WINGS GO
I'm hoping for a Wild victory solely because you took the North Stars from us. I hope for eternal suffering and losing. I don't care that we'll even lose a spot in the draft with a victory.
