20

Two amazing stats.

Mike Sauer +20. What a great year. Isn't it terrific to know that the Rangers will have a sturdy and very cost effective defense for the next five years?

20 different Ranger players with game winning goals this year. Anyone know if that is an NHL record?

Brooks is right...the Rangers deserved to be in the playoffs.

As well as #20 Vinny Prospal's miraculous comeback and scoring some key goals that likely got us in.

Knock on wood when you say that about Sauer. Solid talent, but I'll forget the injury history when he's played two full seasons. Five years is a long time

20 different players with GW's does seem like alot, but a few Ranger teams in the past had similar numbers. Mid to late 80's and early 90's teams regularly had 15-20 players with at least one GWG. 94 Cup team had 18 different players with GWG's.

Mike Sauer has done nothing but impress game after game since the begining of camp in September.

He and McDonagh are the real deal.

They should be locked up long term.

Staal. Girardi
McDonagh. Sauer
Del Zotto. McIlrath

i havent given up on del zotto, but have to say i've enjoyed not being stressed about him bringing the puck out from behind his net and expecting a turnover every time.

Holy Jesus that will be a very solid defense in about 3-5 years time. All homegrown too.

Not everything about that number has been good to the Rangers this year.

DelZotto has been 20 years old all season.

To think i was one of maybe 5 people who thought he would actually help the team, as opposed to the hundreds who thought he should just retire.

Didn't the Bruins have about 15 20+G scorers in the 70's?

Just curious, what was Sauer's injury history in the past? Just freak injuries or chronic injuries and etc.

He just seems like a solid steady player.

Knee and shoulder, plus his brother could never stay healthy.
