Clearly it will be Quick... I also picked Wellwood... just cause, he's been heating up, apparently he's not bad in the playoffs, and in the 3 games against the Kings he had 3 points.

Wellwood!

He's been coming on and is a decent playoff performer. All the stars will get extra attention, he'll not get it and will gain time and space.

Until the last 15ish games. His defensive game has been mediocre as of late.

Shattenkirk!

While Torrey is my boy, I am going to vote for Pickles. I think he will be huge for us this run.

I'll say White. He's never been to the playoffs so hopefully he makes the most of it and surprises us, even though he hasn't been anything special since we traded for him...

This may be the key to the whole thing. Pickles has been absolutely terrible in the playoffs.

The thing about Mitchell (and Eager) is he has already shown that he steps up in the playoffs....so I'm not sure it's appropriate to pick him unless you think he's going to step up even more than previously which would be huge.

Biggest issue will be poise with the puck. If they don't get scared or flustered and start passing to the other teams, then they are in good shape. Also, the over passing was absolutely out of control in that last game and is something that plagues them in big games sometimes.

Top candidates are Wellwood, Mitchell, and Eager.

Gotta go with Eager. Something about guys with size showing up big in the playoffs. (i.e. Byfuglien, Pisani)

Yeah, maybe even just plain bad. I actually think he had a huge drop off late in the year..but I think he'll be great in the playoffs because he strikes me as a playoff guy. He doesn't play scared and seems to like the pressure situations. I hope he throws some huge checks too.

I'm gonna say White too. I think he gets a few through from the point and they go in.

Wellwood. Years of fat jokes will lead him to explode with hat tricks in every playoff game through the finals.

I thought he was one of our best defenseman last year.

I voted for Mitchell, though I seriously considered Wellwood. Anyone on that 3rd line really, especially if they keep buzzing around like they have been.

I'm more concerned that TMac never lets Wellwood take draws. I know he now has Pavs as a linemate, but isn't Wellwood supposedly be a good FO guy? Isn't he supposed to be better than Pavs?

Pavs is clutch. Wellfed can go eat another burger. He stank against Coyotes; people vote for him just because he had one good game against LA.

Timmy fell down a Wellwood I see having a good series. Hopefully he decides to shoot the puck when on a breakaway at least.

it's his time to shine.

Also, the Big Pavelski will rise again!
Couture scored a goal in that series

I think it will be Mitchell. He always seems to turn it on in the playoffs, but never produces points because of bad offensive support. Now that he's got good linemates i think he could breakout

Other than the anaheim series pickles has been solid in the playoffs.

Did you watch the colorado series? Duchene had no answer for him.

Agree with the general consensus about Mitchell and Wellwood. I think if Vlasic picks up where he left off in the WCF the Sharks are in good shape with him. He and Patty were basically the only Sharks that showed up in that series.

Agreed.
Really, no one was good in that Ana series. (Marleau?)

I think LA focuses on Pavs and Wellfed and Torrey feasts!
