Although I was never a huge fan of the Simpsons, I respect the show's impact on and critique of popular culture. I like the stonewall typeset of "BOBS", but I was unable to make out what is in the center between Rocky and Sideshow Bob. Is it a solid mask, I am sure he has (or will) practiced with it a few times and if he wasn't comfortable with it he wouldn't wear it for Playoffs.

Bingo. These days, getting a new mask isn't much of a big deal. A lot of the better manufacturers will get a real good mold for you, and you can get a new mask without any problems whatsoever. It won't cause any issues.
Looking at those two pics again, the glare makes it difficult to make out what's between Rocky and Sideshow Bob.. Who kind of looks like Lavy with that orange tie, no?

A Bob Barker mask would kick so much ass. Giant wheel on the one side and all.
My bad with the mask fitting, but goalies are a different breed and the same exact mask could potentially throw them off their game if it is touched by someone who shouldn't touch it.
I guess the biggest issue would be switching from a chrome cage to a black cage or white cage, but Bob doesn't have to worry about that with his 2 NHL masks.

Honestly, switching cage colors isn't as big a deal as you might think it is.
At least, it's never been an issue for me. You get over it after about 2 minutes.

Yea I guess, I had some trouble (on defense) switching to a chrome Jofa cage from a black one because it reflected more light and my peripherals were a little messed up. Then, when I switched back to a black Jofa for AAA, I had some issues picking up the puck in my skates and off the bounce...granted it was only at most an hour and a half practice that I was semi-uncomfortable with my reactionary senses.
For creatures of habit, which every NHL player is, including the less-sane goal tenders, something minor can have significant impacts, especially when someone's mind is not where it should be.
