I'm going to respect the tradition of a 1st GDT post and keep it minimalistic.

As for the 2nd post of the GDT, I'm sure there's no superstition among anybody.

Here we go again.

Going to miss the game for my girlfriend's grandfather's wake. For the love of Bob please don't make tomorrow suck anymore than it has to.

Good job on the post. I felt strongly that they would win game 1 and felt slightly they'd lose 2. I'm feeling pretty good about a win here. I expect a big game from Vanek, making an impact at EVEN STRENGTH this time!

Is it possible for this team to produce steady offense, play sound defense, AND play discipline hockey all in one game? I hope so.

IMO Flyers will take this one 3-1. Flyers will play a simple and sound defensive game, and we won't get many chances on Boucher.

I feel confident that they can take both of the home games given home ice advantage. Crowd + last change = winning combo.

We'll win tonight.

I was planning on doing the same thing.

And I watched game #1 just with Clock so I could pay attention to the game. We had lots of people over on Saturday so I couldn't give the game my full attention.

Nobody is watching game #3 with me. We need to win!

Whoever wins tonight will win the series. If Buffalo takes Game 3, they'll win in six. If Philly wins tonight, they'll win in six or seven. This is a must win. Just win. BUFFALO GO!!

The crowd needs to be the difference maker and elevate the players tonight, even if we are scored upon.

This should have been Clocks thread. Despite throwing up a L in game two, overall, the trend is:

minimal = win
